So my next project was to look at building 1/48 scale helicopters from the Falklands War, this was going to be a collection of about 8 kits. I already have some kits like…. Westland Wessex HU.5 Chinook HC2 which I’ll build as a HC1 Westland Gazelle But it’s getting harder to find some like the following… or you can find them but people are asking stupid prices. Sea King HAR3 Lynx HMA8 which would need converting to a HAS2 Westland Wessex HAS3 Westland Wasp been trying to get 2 of these as I wanted to build 1 as a scout. I’ll put this project on hold for the time being and see if I can find what I’m missing at a good price and not £80+ for a small kit. So I’ll have a look at possible building the RAF Jaguar instead. Hi Kev. Thanks for the info… I’ve seen them but the prices just keep going up and as I might be looking at extras I’m trying to keep the kit cost down. The first one is a HAS1 I’m looking for a HAS3 not sure what the difference is ?? The second one look nice even thou it’s all resin build. The third one I keep looking at, but I’ve seen them going for a lot less so not really jumping at that one. My Favourite Building:- 1919 https://forum.model-spac...=339517&#post339517 -

Hello Ian,
There is a 1:48 HAS3 here ...:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/i...0a3f:g:-SQAAOSw1xNhfsHz
... not cheap I know and time is running out as it ends in less than 24 hours, but it is what you're looking for and I'm sure you can buy aftermarket decals to represent a Falklands machine?
