I planked the middle deck bulwarks, framed the entry ports and stored the tool for the cannons.
As for the mast bands i came back to the good old black-thread-method, as i think this looks better than some masking tape or black cardboard.DaDokta attached the following image(s): Greetings, Walter

Very nice looking model Walter. I really want to make a start on mine but need to get things sorted in my head first as i keep thinking “i will do this”, “i will do that” and in the end either do nothing or start something i don't finish. A quick question if I may? During earlier stages of my build of HMS Victory I suggested that I place some barrels adjacent to the cannon on the lower deck. The response from this forum was that there would never have been barrels anywhere near the area, and I totally understood that opinion.. But looking at Walters build here, he has done exactly what I had suggested? Chris
