Anybody got any idea why the spin-offs don't fit the rear wheels?

My rear wheel etc just arrived and yes, you're correct.
The spinner collar is bigger than the locating hole.
Not a major problem as I'll sand the collar down to fit but it's an error.
I'll pass the info to Admin.

Visually, it looks like you'd have to sand-down pretty close to where the magnet is housed.
Might be easier drilling out the wheel centre a tad?
I'm lucky enough to own a pillar drill, so shouldn't be too hard?
(famous last words...)

There's really not much in it, is there?
You could sand-down the spinners a bit, or scrape/sand
the paint off, in the recess wher the spinner fits.
Certainly, I got both spinners fitted with minimum effort.

I had the same problem but I am lucky enough to own a lathe so was able to reduce the diameter at the back of the spinner only to find that the wheel retaining screw is deeper in to the wheel so had to machine the shoulder deeper on the back of the spinner to get the magnet closer to the screw head otherwise it would fall out at the slightest touch.

I also had the same problem, filing down the spinner until it fitted did the job for me. Building:
Ghostbusters Ecto-1, Ford GT40, Gone in 60 seconds Eleanor mustang, Shelby Cobra
Complete:
R2D2, Red Bull RB7 RC, Battleship Bismarck, Shelby GT500 'super snake'

I had the same problem as well. I chased the hole in the wheel with a drill bit the same diameter as the spinner. Only took a light touch. If that center piece is cast, it may be flash or someone really really really likes orange paint

Using a small model file
Remove chrome of the spinner entry point to wheel
It will turn black
Check continually
Until it is a nice fit
Hope this helps all out
