Thanks for looking in and commenting Mark. Much appreciated. I've now assembled and painted the transmission and rear suspension etc. One set of shock absorber parts were missing from the kit so I had to scratch make those parts. Marginally different but I don't think it will notice in the end. Gearbox now mated to the engine. The ignition leads are red purely to add a bit of colour. The exhaust manifolds are still not fitted - TOTALLY out of step with the instructions. However, this is now my 4th build of this kit and I'm very well aware the exhaust parts just DON'T fit properly. Far easier to assemble the manifolds and then fettle them into place along with the longer tail pipes, once the tail pipe mounts are added... roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Slowly moving ahead... A good bit more wiring etc added at the engine end and I'm now working out how to modify the oil tank and cooler... All good fun. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

A little more today. Oil tank and radiator modified to suit the reference picture I'm using. Placed in the picture, not fixed. Engine now attached to the main tub. More needed on the front section before it's attached to the tub and then it will be a lot more at the rear end. My scratch made airbox fits a treat... roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Many thanks for peeping in chaps. The front frame has now been fixed to the main body tub and the rear wing assembled and painted. The oil tank and cooling rad are just about ready so next will be the remaining struts, pipes and other fittings at the back. The home straight isn't far off now, so I'll need to get on with creating the various decals. roymattblack attached the following image(s):
