One of the Royal Navy’s newest warships, HMS Daring, will make her inaugural visit to Dorset’s historic naval harbour when she goes alongside in Portland Port on Friday October 7th 2011
The type 45 destroyer will be alongside for three days, and on Sunday morning, the ship will throw open her gangway to members of the public to come on board.
There will be a shuttle bus running from the main Port gates to transfer people to where the ship is berthed. It will run from 12noon until around 3.45pm.
