Hi!
As a little distraction from all the woodwork an my Victory models i built a cardboard model of a Phantom II - in a special livery of the 40year-anniversary of the Jagdgeschwader 74 of German Luftwaffe.
Aside from the canopy, where i tried out an aftermarket plastic product which didn`t fit at all, i`m quite satisfied with the result - regarding some major fitting issues.DaDokta attached the following image(s): Greetings,

It actually seems strange to see you working on something other than HMS Victory.

It never ceases to amaze me how detailed these paper kits have become. A stunning build and one for the display shelf, well done.

Actually the GELI-models are quite basic cardboard models without a length of detail compared to e.g. the models by Kartonowny Arsenal or others.
In my stash i have a cardboard version of the Tornado with 5 times as many parts as this one (and very undetailed instructions in polish!) - which till now i did not have the courage to tackle.Greetings,

Looks as if it was great fun. A really nice result. I'm well aware of how fiddly card models can be, but great fun. I built this 1/18 scale Aston DBR9 a few years ago. roymattblack attached the following image(s):
