The set of parts included here are for stages 96 - 100.
PACK 96:
The windscreen is included here.
The main upper body was cleaned of all decals and markings using acetone free nail varnish remover. The surface was then lightly sanded with 1000 grit wet and dry, primed and sprayed dark blue.
The windscreen is fitted to the upper body very easily but care must be taken from now on not to scratch the finish.
PACK 97:
This set of parts is for the wiper, fuel cap and other detail parts for the main upper body.
The wiper should be carefully de-seamed and then painted satin black.
The fuel filler should be painted matt black in the tube area to indicate a void below. The parts are easily assembled.
The front support plates can be fitted here after repainting them in a slightly lighter aluminium silver.
PACKS 98 & 99:
These two packs are for the lower body sides which will be fitted later on.
At this stage the doors are attached to the main upper body.
Make absolutely sure the fixing screws are fully tightened.
If you can 'wobble' the open door against the body, the screws are NOT fully tightened.
PACK 100:
This pack contains the rear body/engine cover which will be fitted later.
At this point, the upper body is now attached to the main chassis.
Make sure the fixing screws are NOT fully tightened. Leave one turn of each screw undone.
This is so that the lower body panels can be clipped into place.
If the screws are fully tightened, it is almost impossible to fit the lower panels.
The lower panels should be cleaned of any decal markings, sanded, primed and painted dark blue before fitting them.
