The space on my bookshelf is already cleared despite the boss moaning, os i will set-up later today and post some pics.
Did you go for the same dimensions as me? Mine was £62.50 then £14 P&P but i collected so didn't pay P&P! Oh yeah, i need to post a picture. I went for slightly larger size 640mm x 280 x 200 and it was £86 delivered.

The Japanese sight has the display case up at £190 and its plastic. The also have a plaque seperately which is nearly £60!! Wouldn't hold much hold for a nicely priced version in the uk. Least is gives the exact dimensions for the case. http://translate.google....bih%3D744%26prmd%3Dimvns

The large case does look good though with all the extra bits with it, L.E.D's, helmet, steering wheel and rain tyres. to much money for a plastic case though. we will have to see what our uk lot come up with. im still gonna hold out and wait.

Been working on ideas for this and have just ordered a set of led's for my display from ebay. Only a few quid from China with battery holder/switch. I am going to make a solid top and set the leds in. As I work for a large company that cut and make stained glass I have emailed them the Mclaren motif and asked them if they can reproduce ( similar of course not too exact ) on sand blasted glass on the back piece. Going to try and make the base in either black and white chequer or carbon with a couple of led's under the car. Well...that's the plan anyway !! They will more than likely say no to the glass. but will go elsewhere if they do.

That's exactly what i plan to do with my car! Light it up from underneath with maybe a small neon tube or Blue Leds, and a Bright Red led for the rain light! Not in to much hurry though,,,,only another year to go!! Chris

Cheers Hiya bud I ordered the led's from a Chinese seller on Ebay. They are a set of 10 in a string with battery holder. Not sure how I will inset them into the case top or bottom yet, but will have to extend wiring to get the bottom ones in the base. Look on Ebay and look for led's, there are loads on there but these are ready wired for cheap money....that is if they turn up
