Many thanks Chris. A fair bit done since the last update. Transmission now fixed to the engine and the engine attached to the body, exhausts sorted (a nightmare!) and the gubbins at the upper rear of the body in place. I've cast a resin airbox as the one on this car is different to the famous 'anvil' box on the JPS cars. Looking at the home straight now. Should be completed this week sometime. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

A bit more today. The front section is now fitted and I've added the rear link rods, exhausts, some plumbing and wiring. Who knows - complete tomorrow? roymattblack attached the following image(s):

That is really beautiful (and so quick! ) I know what you mean about exhausts and nightmares - I get the jitters every time I look through the instructions for the Ferrari's pipes! Love the resin part, is that a solid piece or hollow cast? (I'm just used to casting tiny little parts - apart from the old Chindit figure of course!) Great work as always! Hello Robin. Thanks for looking in. The airbox is a solid resin piece but the intakes are open to about 15mm depth. They will be painted in matt black. I made the master from a chopped up 'anvil' airbox and sheet plastic. Also, lots of filler! The rear oil cooler has been modified and fitted now. More plumbing also added at the rear and I've made a small start on the decals. Getting there. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

I've printed another set of decals for the car as I wasn't happy with the first ones I made. Not as 'sharp' as I'd like so I upped the print resolution on the new set. Umpteen times better. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Heading on the home straight with this one now. Decals almost complete then just put all the bits together and add the wheels. roymattblack attached the following image(s):
