One for the Batman fans. Bit expensive for me at the moment but looking forward to see any builds start on here. Andy.

Just had a look at the Hachette Partworks Web Site. This shows Issue number 1 for the Tumbler as "out of stock" with issue 2 due shortly. Perhaps it is just a test unless the issues are all out with Newsagents. Will keep an eye on this as I might well subscribe, but at a cost of £1300 approx I want to be reasonably sure it will continue to completion. Current Build:- [color=blue]Stash Avro Lancaster (Full Kit)plus some extra issues I picked up at a good price [color=blue]Built:- Norman Catapult by Mantua,Roman Catapult by Mantua,HMS Victory,HMS Victory XSection,Focker DB1,Bismark,English Carronade Titanic Lifeboat,American Civil War Gatling,Hummer,Sopwith Camel F1,Occre Jupiter ,OcCre Wagon, Latina Arab Dhow, Eaglemass Orrery OcCre Rogers 119 [color=red][color=red]RB7,OcCre Missippi River Boat, Model Airways Fokker DR1 OcCre London L>C>C 106 Ugears Scrambler, Ugears Hexapod Explorer UGears Off-Road Vehicle

Found issue 1 at the local W H Smiths. As it was only £1.99 thought I get one to see what the quality was. Assembly was straight forward Main body is metal with a lot of additional plastic components. No glue required as the majority of the addon parts are push fit (a nice tight fit, too tight on one part but nothing a bit of careful filing could not resolve). Nice clean parts with no sprues to file off. Will lookout for part two and see if the quality continues GilShapley attached the following image(s): Current Build:- [color=blue]Stash Avro Lancaster (Full Kit)plus some extra issues I picked up at a good price [color=blue]Built:- Norman Catapult by Mantua,Roman Catapult by Mantua,HMS Victory,HMS Victory XSection,Focker DB1,Bismark,English Carronade Titanic Lifeboat,American Civil War Gatling,Hummer,Sopwith Camel F1,Occre Jupiter ,OcCre Wagon, Latina Arab Dhow, Eaglemass Orrery OcCre Rogers 119 [color=red][color=red]RB7,OcCre Missippi River Boat, Model Airways Fokker DR1 OcCre London L>C>C 106 Ugears Scrambler, Ugears Hexapod Explorer UGears Off-Road Vehicle

HI all, I`ve been mulling this one over and come to a decision. The cost I can deal with, but the reason I WON`T be investing is the time scale of the collection. Here`s my reasoning: 1st 10 issues are fortnightly = 20 weeks then 110 weekly issues = 110 weeks Total = 130 weeks / 2.5 years A lot can happen in 2.5 years, by which point I`ll be closing in on 70 years of age. Hopefully Looks like I`ll only be in the full kit range from now on. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"
