hi all firstly can anyone recommend a camera am fed up with mine i tried to take pics of stages but my camera didnt manage the close ups..anyway in my last post i mentioned replacing the twisted brass with rope because the brass kept breaking, after adding the rope i didnt like that either so i changed them..firstly i drilled 1.2 mm holes in the yards then i doubled up a piece of the supplied brass (not twisted) and inserted a 1.6mm drill bit in the bend of the brass and pinched the brass with pliers around the drill bit to form an eye cut to length and then glued in to the drilled holes (not wrap the brass around the yard) and left to dry..when dry i then wound the black supplied rope around the brass and also around the yard and super glued in place all that is left to do is black the brass eye thats showing and touch in with varnish..this gives the best of both worlds you get rigidity and a rope effect cheers benny

Very nice work on the mast sections. I thought of painting mine as the Victory is today but I decided to stay with the official build and magazine instructions. But it is nice to see a variation on the build without it turning into a severe KIT BASHING, I look forward to your next update. Steve..

Coming along very nicely indeed. Your attention to detail is paying divdends, I like what your doing a lot, the sequence of photos with the completed yards is a particularly nice touch. Cheers Steve..
