Hi All, BigGrin BigGrin

New Pack and Issue 35 update is here.Woot ThumpUp Woot

This Pack continues the build of the Left Leg, with Issue 35 concentrating on the Ankle Joint that attaches to the Left Foot that we built in Issue 2.

The parts for Issue 35, as always, are shown in Pic 1.

Now here`s a rub. Blink As I only have two hands, Blink I`m going to change the build order from the Mag Instructions (slightly).

Bring the Left Foot from (Issue 2) to your work space and remove the magnetic protection plate. Pic 2.

Then, position an Ankle Washer (Checking the Orientation) into the indented side of the Lower Leg as shown in Pic 3. Now, whilst holding the washer and lower leg in position add another washer in place to the lower leg on the other side to the previous one and follow on by placing the Lower Leg into the Ankle Pivot of the left foot (keeping both washers in place as you do it. Pic 4.

With the Lower Leg and the washer on either side in place, position the Ankle Joint through the Foot and Lower Leg. Pic 5.

I have added another pic to show the orientation of the Ankle Joint on the reverse side. Pic 6. Now fit the Ankle Lock Washer in the orientation shown in Pic 7 and hold the Ankle Joint together using an MP screw. Pic 8.

Note: At this point you need to think about how tight you make the MP screw through the Ankle. Remembering that too loose and your Iron Man won`t be able to stand upright, too tight and you won`t be able to change his pose. Going back to adjust it later may involve a lot of dis-assembling and re-assembling. Personally, I`ve opted for the tighter version.Flapper The movement should be checked and adjusted to your liking as shown in Pic 9.

That completes this issue. Pic 10.

Update for Issue 36 is on its way, just need to edit some pics.BigGrin

Take Care and see you all soon.

Hi All, BigGrin

Now, the next update is for Issue 36 and there is very little to it, so I`ll be posting Issue 37 shortly after.

Parts supplied are shown in Pic 1.

Carefully press the pins of the Rear thigh plate detail into the Rear thigh plate. Pic 2.

That`s it, Issue finished Blink Blink Pic 3.

TIP: As these parts are not going to be used for some time, I placed them back into the cellophane packaging they came in to protect them. Pic 4.

See you soon for the Issue 37 update.

Hi Again,Laugh

The Issue 37 update is here and its about as long as the last one.Blink

The parts supplied are shown in Pic 1.

The first thing to do is retrieve the Outer Thigh from Issue 34 and carefully press the Outer thigh plate provided with this issue into place. Pic 2.

As that is all there is to this issue, I have replaced the unused parts back into their packaging as I did in the last issue. Its a good way to protect the parts until they are used at a later stage.ThumpUp Pic 3.

The good news is, that the update for Issue 38 will be here soon and its the start of the parts built before coming together.

Take care and see you soon.BigGrin

Hi All, BigGrin

This update is for Issue 38 and the last update for this pack.Blink

Work on the next pack is under way, but updates are a couple of days away. Will try and get them up as soon as possible.

Issue 38 parts are shown in Pic 1.

Position the Left inner thigh frame and Left inner thigh plate (supplied in this issue) as shown in Pic 2.

Whilst carefully holding the parts together, fix them using two AP screws. Pic 3.

Now flip the parts over and press one of the Knee details into place, Note: that this part can only fit in one position. Pic 4.

Recover the assembly from Issue 37 and press the second Knee detail into its position as before. Pic 5.

Time to bring the Knee joint from Issue 32 back to the work place along with the last piece we worked on.
Important Note: The instructions for Step/Stage 3 of this issue are incorrect. The notes say you need "the assembly from Step/Stage 1", when in fact, it should read "the assembly from Step/Stage 2".

So, with the correct assemblies on the table, position the parts as shown in Pic 6 making sure the locating pin and screw fixing hole are in the correct position. Then carefully holding the parts in position fix them together with an NP screw as in Pic 7.

That completes this issue and pack. Pic 8.

The next pack (issues 39 - 42) will continue the build of the Left leg. Updates of which will be here asap.
