Can some post a screenshot circling exactly where to click? Please? Maybe post a video showing how easy it is? Or maybe just email me the PDF I paid for?
Nothing works on my end. The grey placeholders have turned into color pictures. That’s the only change I see. Nothing is a link to a document.
Clicking “mark as remark” changes the text to “I’ve completed it”. Nothing more. It does not open the document. I’ve now clicked both “mark as remark” buttons, so now pack 1 and pack 2 show “i’ve completed it.” I have, in fact, NOT completed it.
Derek, I’m sorry for being short with you, but I’m trying to cram these messages in between work while in a cellphone, so repeating myself and being super stringent with details is cumbersome. I already provided CS a very very detailed write up that explains all of this, without any ambiguity. Screenshots included. I work in technology, and I have led a team of offshore resources. I’ve even worked with Zendesk. So I am very familiar with what I am dealing with here, and I gotta say….it is very frustrating. I am not asking for the world on a silver platter. I am asking for two pdf documents in the year 2023. So please just know, my attitude is not personally directed at you. I appreciate your help. My attitude is directed at whoever decided to offshore their website development and customer service and not perform proper quality assurance before deployment. I have led offshore software development and customer support teams before, so I am in fact speaking from a place of experience. I can quite confidently say someone has either overcomplicated a simple task, or has completely avoided checking the quality of the work they manage. Sharing pdfs is not rocket science. Neither is building a website or customer portal with access restrictions etc….this is simple, straightforward, basic business in this day and age. My honest feedback is to “uncomplicate” (simplify) the process. Not you Derek. But some decision maker, needs to rethink their decisions here. I should not, nor should any customer, have to carry the burden of QA for this pdf delivery process.
I’m sincerely baffled. It’s two. Pdf. Files. Freaking email them to me. Set up an auto email system that triggers when you receive the money for my subscription. Ask chatGPT to teach you how. Keep asking until you get a working model. Then fire whoever made this current round of decisions. I’m really blown away guys….
