Hi John These are very easy to make yourself. You can buy decal paper, which comes in two types, clear and white. If you have white in the image then white is the best option, clear if not. You print your image using a standard inkjet printer. Allow the ink to dry, not long in this weather. Then lightly spray with a gloss varnish, again not too much as it will thicken the decal, this will then seal the image. It is best to cut out the image from the sheet so you don’t waste the rest of the paper when varnishing. Allow this to dry thoroughly, probably 24 hours. Cut around the image as close to it as possible, and then use as any normal decal using water. The decal paper is not that expensive for several A4 sheets, allowing lots of decals to be made. I’m still using my sheets I bought several years ago. Just make sure you buy the right paper, either for inkjet or laser, depending on your type of printer. Hope that helps. Mark

Hello John. As Mark has said, making your own is really easy when you get used to it. Just make sure you scale your art/text to the right size. If you have light text or art over a coloured background, create a 'box' with your model colour in it and put the text etc on top. The Gunston Lotus in the pics has every decal created by me. It's actually good fun when you get the hang of it. Roy. roymattblack attached the following image(s):
