Hi All,
Here we are at the mid-point of Ironman with the update for Issue 60.
This is where we start to draw all the sub-assemblies together for the right leg, which can only mean we are getting closer to the build of the main body.
Boring bit: Parts supplied in this issue are shown in Pic 1.
So, lets start by bringing the sub-assemblies from issues 51 and 57 (knee and outer thigh sections)to your work place.
Position the upper arm of the knee joint inside the thigh section, locating the pin in place and fix the parts together using an NP screw. Pic 2.
Now, bring the shin assembly from Issue 58 to the work space and position the lower arm of the knee joint into the shin assembly, fixing it in place using two IM screws. Pic 3.
Next back to the table is the assembly from issue 54. The right foot and ankle assembly. To avoid damage temporarily remove the magnetic instep guard, then position the ankle extension inside the the lower shin guard. Pic 4.
Whilst holding the ankle into the lower shin plate, position the Inner support plate inside the lower leg and secure it with three EM screws. Pic 5.
Time to bring back the sub-assembly from issue 59. Position it onto the inner support plate at fix in place using three AM screws as shown in Pic 6.
Carefully place the four identical interior mechanisms (60B) in place, but line the pins up to the locating holes before pressing them into place or damage will occur. Pic 7. You can now replace the magnetic instep guard removed earlier.
That`s all for this issue, but for reference I have added two pics of the leg as it is at the point. The back of the leg Pic 8 and the inside of the leg in Pic 9.
I have Issue 61 under construction, so will be back soon with the next update.

Hi All,
Well, I`m here with the next update for Ironman Issue 61. Here we will add some more detail to the inside of the Lower Right Leg.
Parts supplied as always in Pic 1. As all the parts are labelled as "Internal leg mechanism" (helpful not) I will refer to the part numbers designated in the instructions booklet.
Bring the right leg assembly from the previous issue back to your work space, with the rear of the lower leg facing upwards.
Being careful not to damage the pins, press part 61A into position as shown in Pic 2.
Now bring part 61B in and press it into place as shown in Pic 3, being careful to get the orientation correct as the pin/hole have a flat face on/in them.
The last part for this update is 61C. A little extra care should be taken with this part as the locating pins are angled to the main body of the part. The correct positioning of this part is shown in Pic 4.
Well that`s it for this update, Pic 5 shows the right leg as it should now look.
The next update (Issue 62) will complete the rear lower leg armour of the right leg. It will also be the final update for this pack.
See you all soon, take care out there.

Hi All,
Ironman Issue 62 update is here and that will finish this pack.
In this issue, the armour for the rear of the lower right leg will be made and attached to the leg.
Parts supplied are shown in Pic 1.
Bring the heel section to the rear lower leg armour (narrow end) and locate the hinge pin as shown in Pic 2.
Now position the Hinge Support Plate over the hinge pin and fix it in place with two EM screws. Pic 3. Be sure not to over tighten the screws, but have them tight enough to enable the heel section to remain in the position you want without flapping about. Movement shown in Pic 4.
Carefully position the rear leg armour onto the main leg assembly. Noting that the upper locating tabs go inside the armour already installed. Indicated by the BLUE circle in Pic 5 (This must be the same on both sides).
With the rear armour correctly placed, put a friction washer in place as shown in Pic 6 and fix the pivot point with an EM screw Pic 7, but DO NOT fully tighten yet. Then turn the leg over and repeat on the opposite side. When both sides are secured, tighten the screws so the rear armour will stay in the position you want without flapping about and can still be moved to a different position if you desire. Pic 8.
The lower leg rear armour is now completed. The armour in the closed position is shown in Pic 9 and the open position in Pic 10.
Well that is it for this issue and pack, so will see you soon as the next delivery has arrived.
