Issue 1

Hi all, now it is time for the leader of Autobots, Optimus Prime, to take his place on the forum. This pack 1 will contain issues 1 & 2, and seeing both issues, I realise this is going to be another big build standing in at a whopping 60cm tall.
Because of the number of photos taken showing the construction process, I will break it down into 3 parts for issue one.

So, let’s get started.

The first picture is of the parts for issue 1. You also get the three batteries that are needed in the assembly.
Take the battery compartment and insert connector G into the terminal as shown in pic 2.
Take the neck joint cable and connect in the A terminal as shown in pic 3.
Pictures 4 to 6 show the eye piece fitted along with the eye LED plate.
Now make the final connection D to the terminal.
Your assembly should look as shown in pic 8.
Next, place the cable connector and the neck joint as show in the 9th picture.
Once in place, connect the other side head part as seen in picture 10.
Note: Take care not to trap any cables and that they all move freely.
Now fix in place with 2x AP screws. Push the face into position along with the top of the head and secure with a DP screw.

This completes parts A of issue 1.

Second part of issue 1.

Place the small mask detail as show in picture 14. This one has a smaller internal hole than the other part. Secure in place with a CP screw. Then push fit the other mask detail covering the screw.
Attach the rear head detail as shown in picture 17 and secure with an AP screw, picture 18.
Place the back head assembly to the head.
Next, position the switch in a central position, this will help when attaching the switch cover as shown in picture 21.

Now head over to the final assemble of issue 1.

Take the left cheek and attach it to the outer head as shown in picture 22.
Place the jaw plates into position seen in picture 23. Note: the lower plate has one pin thicker than the other. Now proceed with the other cheek in the same way as shown in picture 25.
Now we push fit the two cheeks to the head as shown in picture 26 and 27.
Place the batteries in place taking note of the position. The + side fits to the spring end and the – side to the plate. Fit the battery cover and secure with 2 x AP screws.
Finally, fit the top head part and carefully push in place.
Tip: Make sure the protruding earpieces do not get caught when lining up to fit this part.

Flick the switch at the back of the head to make his eyes light up, as seen in the final picture.

This completes issue 1.

Issue 2

The first picture are the parts for this issue.
Take the parts along with 2xAM screws as shown in pic 2 and assemble as shown in 3.
Picture 4 shows the inside view of the torso structure and where the assembly just made will fit.
Press firmly into place as shown in picture 5.
Now take the cab upper deck and the screen and fit in place with 2 x AM screws.
Note: Make sure the top of the screen holes fit into the pins on the cab before securing with screws, see picture 6.
Take the cab upper lights and the blue lenses and push fit as shown in pictures 8 & 9.
Push fit these on the top of the cab, picture 10.
Secure the visor and bracket with 2 x EP screws, do not over tighten.
This fits on the cab top as shown in picture 13. Note: one tab is larger than the other.
Finally push fit the windscreen wiper in place as show in picture 14.

That completes issue 2.
