Issue 47 Brake pedals and Dashboard wiring
Follow the wiring guide to unplug wires mostly contained in the dashboard, brakes and steering wheel.
Issue 48 Assemble lower dashboard and attach steering parts.
Fit the lower fascia and secure with 5BP screws. Insert the central console cover into the dash and secure with 2BP screws. Remove the holding screw in the dash monitor base and position and secure the monitor base, 48H, with a GP screw. Insert the steering column into the steering column, 4T.Put the two steering column bracket parts and the control lever, 48L, around the column and secure with a BP screw to the underside of the dash as shown.Secure 48G to 48F using 2BPscrews. The assembled parts of the steering column, (Steps 6-9) should slide on the steering column. Slide this assembly to the front of the dash to the indicated position and secure with 3BPscrews. See step 11.
Issue 49 is complete
Issue 49 Some wiring, interior panels and instrument panel parts.
Assemble passenger dashboard parts, 49D and 49E as shown. Attach to the dashboard. Complete the dashboard wiring. Attach the lamp housings, 49C to the interior panels with 2BPscrews each. Attach the interior panels to the dash assemble with a CPscrew each. The BP screws go thru the dash into part, 47A, the instrument panel.
Issue 49 is complete
Issue 50 Transmission tunnel and center console
Put the air conditioning controls into the center console and secure with AP screws from the backside. Attach the ash tray to the transmission tunnel as shown. Secure with an AP screw. Box 12, Issue 50 is complete.
