Hi All,
Well here is an update of sorts. Issue 14.
As previously stated this Issue is a parts supply only, without any construction.
Just a Pic of the parts supplied in Pic 1.
So, see you all soon for the update for Issue 15, that is work in progress and will be updated shortly.

Hi All,
Back for another session with the update for issue 15.
In issue 15 we build the root of the thumb, that will connect it to the rest of the Gauntlet.
Parts supplied are shown in Pic 1.
Start by positioning parts C 65 and C67 as shown in Pic 2 and connect the parts together using two type 2 screws (silver) as in Pic 3.
You now need to recover part A70 from Issue 14 and place the two washers (supplied in this issue), on the inside of the pillars of part A70 as in Pic 4. The next step can be a little fiddley, so take care not to damage the washers you just put in place. Position the assembly from the start of this update, in between the pillars of part A70, making sure that the washers stay in situ. Pic 5.
Now, whilst maintaining the position of the parts you just assembled, place part C66 on top so it holds the internal elements in place and locates onto the two pillars of part A70. The alignment of the parts is shown in Pic 6. Finally secure the parts together using two type 1 screws (black) Pic 7.
That brings this update to an end, but I`ll be back soon with the update for Issue 16 that will close this pack. I`m working on the next pack already (Issues 17 - 21)
Take Care All,

Hi Again,
With this update we will bring this pack to a close, by bringing the components of the thumb together. This will leave us with just the outer plating to do over the next few issues from the next pack.
So, onto Issue 16. Lots of aligning parts and holding bits together whilst assembling, but if done carefully nothing to worry about.
Parts supplied are shown in Pic 1.
To make a start, bring the assembly from the end of issue 15 back to the table, along with part C68. Position the parts as shown in Pic 2 and feed the inner post on the inside of part C68 through the assembly from issue 15. When the part is fully inserted it should match Pic 3. Now bring the part C70 in from the opposite side until C68 and C70 meet together flush. Pic 4. Complete this assembly by fixing it together with an 02 type (silver) screw. Pic 5.
The next task is to bring the two halves of the thumb together.
Place one of the washers (this issue) onto the post of part C64 (issue 14) as shown in Pic 6. Then bring the thumb tip assembly from Issue 12 and pass the post with the washer on (C64) through the thumb tip assembly as indicated by the YELLOW arrow in Pic 7, (but before it is fully inserted),introduce part A69 into the bottom of the thumb (indicated by the RED arrow) Pic 7. NOTE: the pin on A69 will locate into the small hole in C64. If the parts are in the correct orientation then your assembly should be the same as Pic 7 with the Yellow circles indicating the correct positioning.
If you are happy with the positioning of the previous parts, place the second washer onto the other post of part C64 as indicated in Pic 8.
I found this next step was more easily accomplished by laying the two thumb assemblies onto a nice soft towel. Position the lower section of the thumb onto the tip section, where you just placed the washer and swing the lower section inside of the tip. Your assembly should now be the same as that shown in Pic 9. Please pay attention to the three points circled in YELLOW as this is where the next main part will be added.
Before you add the main part to the second side of the thumb, add two more washers as shown in Pic 10.
The last part to add is part C69. This fits into the three places previously indicated, so the two thumb halves may need to be moved slightly to get all three points positioned correctly. When you are happy with the placement fix the whole assembly together using two 02 type screws (silver). Pic 11.
That completes this update, but I thought I`d give you one extra Pic to show just how big this Gauntlet is going to be. Yep that is my thumb for comparison in Pic 12. Told you it was big and it still has metal parts to add.
See you all soon with the next pack covering Issues 17 -21. Three issues for the thumb first, then two issues to extend the back of the Gauntlet.
