Stage 3:
With these parts you can build a front wheel.
Remove four of the small bolts from the sprue, parts 3E. There is a spare bolt in case you lose one.
NOTE: The bolt heads have a black face on one side.
Fit the four bolts into the wheel rim part 3D.
The black bolt head faces must face inwards, away from the wheel rim.
The centre rim disk part 3C fixes to the wheel rim using 4 x DP screws.
The assembled parts fit into one side of the tyre.
Look at the tyre tread pattern. The markings form a ‘V’ shape which must be facing anticlockwise to the wheel parts.
Once the wheel centre is in place on the tyre, fit the rear rim part 3B from the other side, lining up the 4 x locating holes and fix together using 4 x BM screws.
Locate the wheel nut and clip – parts 3F & 3G.
The straight part of the clip goes through the hole in the shaft of the nut, part 3G.
Locate the rim centre cap part 3H and press the wheel nut into place in the inner hole.
Store these parts carefully for future use.

STAGE 4:
You can now begin building the front left nose cone parts.
Retrieve the front left wing plane previously assembled.
Locate the left nose cone panel and safety clip, parts 4A & 4F.
Fit the clip into the locating point on the wide end of the front left wing plane.
Fit the wing into place on the end of the nose cone panel and fix into place using 2 x EP screws.
The safety clip will be trapped in place between the nose cone panel and the wing.
Fix the upper wing flap to the nose cone panel using 2 x CP screws.
Locate parts 4C & 4G – the metal barge board top support, and the suspension mount fairing.
The angled end of the top support fits in the ‘D’ shaped location in the suspension mount fairing.
Fix in place using a CM screw.
The left suspension wishbone part 4D lays in the locating slots in the fairing. Make sure you position the part with the metal protrusion on the ‘V’ end pointing down.
Similarly, lay the steering tie rod part 4E in the locating slot in the fairing part.
Holding the parts together, fit the other suspension fairing part 4B in place and fix the parts together using 3 x DP screws.
Position this assembly in place over the opening in the nose cone side panel with the steering tie rod at the front.
From the other side, fix the parts together using 2 x DP screws.
The free end of the metal barge board support should locate in the opening on the nose cone side panel. It is fixed in place from the other side using a CM screw.

STAGE 5:
You can now begin building the front right nose cone parts.
Retrieve the front right wing plane previously assembled.
Locate the right nose cone panel and safety clip, parts 5A & 5F.
Fit the clip into the locating point on the wide end of the front right wing plane.
Fit the wing into place on the end of the nose cone panel and fix into place using 2 x EP screws.

Fix the upper wing flap to the nose cone panel using 2 x CP screws.

STAGE 6:
Here you can begin to assemble the steering rack and steering tie rods.
NOTE: This first stage can be done now as per the kit instructions, but you might find it easier to do this AFTER attaching the two steering tie rods to the actual rack part.
AS PER INSTRUCTIONS:
Locate the steering rack part 6D, the rack bulkhead part 6A , the mounting clamp part 6B and the four BM screws.
Lay the rack part 6D in the recess in the bulkhead part 6A.
The notches in the rack must point downwards and the angled ends of the rack facing the bulkhead.
Fit the mounting clamp in place and fix using 4 x BM screws.
Locate the front wheel barge top support part 6E.
Retrieve the previously assembled left nose cone and wing.
The metal barge support part 6E has and angled end on one of the arms. This end must be positioned toward the rear of the nose cone.
Fit the arm into place in the locating holes and fix in position using 2 x CM screws.
Repeat this section using the other barge support part 6E and the right front nose cone and wing.
Retrieve the steering rack bulkhead assembly and position it against the right nose cone panel on the inside face.
The right steering tie rod should be screwed to the end of the steering rack arm using a DM screw.
Repeat using the left nose cone panel and the left tie rod arm, fixing it to the right hand end of the steering rack using a DM screw.
ALTERNATIVE ASSEMBLY METHOD:
Attaching the tie rod ends to the steering rack as per the it instructions is very fiddly and awkward, needing ‘three hands’ to achieve it.
Disassemble the rack and bulkhead parts and screw the rack part 6D to each of the steering tie rod ends making sure the rack is positioned facing the correct way.
This will be done very easily.
Once the rack is fixed to the tie rods the bulkhead can be reassembled.
Store the column part 6C safely for future use.
