It is with great sadness that I pass on the information that "Hattons" is to cease trading.

Having been in business since 1946 the shutters are coming down on an icon of the model railway hobby.

Sad news about Hattons.
Let's hope that the remaining kit manufacturers and modelling stores can keep afloat.
I spoke to the owner of a local model shop recently and he said that sales were down by 50% on 2022, and that year wasn't brilliant.
