Hi All, BigGrin

Pack 1 landed this morning and I`ve got it onto the bench already. LOL

The pack consists of two issues to give us an easy start.

Issue 1 may be a little too easy, as we are supplied with the main face mask with nothing to build. The face is very flexible rubberised material. Pic 1.

To that end Issue 2 will be here very soon.

Here we are with Issue 2. In this issue we will start the construction of the face framework and the eyes.

Points to note:
A little care is required with part orientation and DON`T glue before the test fit as stated in the instructions. Test fit then glue and be very sparing with the glue. All will become apparent. Blink

Parts as ..... Pic 1.

Start with the two halves of the face frame Pic 2 and whilst carefully aligning the parts, locate the two pins into the holes and press the two halves together. If the parts are aligned correctly you should not need any excessive pressure to join the parts together. Pic 3.

At this point please study Pic 4 carefully. This picture is of the clear "left" lens of ET`s eye. There is a feint shape on the flat top of the lens, circled in red with the approx shape shown in black. It must be in this position for it to be the "left" lens.

Now take the large white eye part marked with an "L" and test fit the "left" lens in place. Pic 5. Should the fit not be flush, check for and remove any burs that may be causing the issue. When and only when the parts fit flush together apply some very small spots of glue around the thin edge indicated in Pic 6 and press the clear lens into its final position. Pic 7.

With the "left" eye complete at this stage, repeat the stages to complete the "right" eye. Pic 8 shows the eyes completed to this point.

The eye parts now need storing and they will fit back into the packaging they came in, but the packaging will not fully close. That said it will provide adequate protection until the parts are required at a later stage. The four small circular parts are also stored for a later date. Pic 9.

That completes issue 2 and this pack. BigGrin
