IMPORTANT – LEFT-RIGHT ORIENTATION.

It is important to note the convention used in vehicles as to left and right.
These directions are always taken from the drivers’ point of view, facing forwards.

In the UK, the LEFT side of the vehicle is nearest the kerb – also known as the nearside.
The RIGHT side of the vehicle, where a driver would sit, is the side nearest the road centre – also known as the offside.

In the kit instructions, you will occasionally see parts marked left or right, when the pictures make it look the opposite way around. This is particularly noticeable with parts such as the front lights, where the view may be looking at the car from the front. The LEFT light will be seen on the right side of the car, from the front. This is correct.

REMEMBER – all orientation is always taken from the drivers’ point of view.

STAGE 1:

The parts supplied here will allow you to build the front bumper/nose of the car.

First, locate the grille 1C, and the badge, 1B.
Note the angled sides of the metal grille. The WIDER edge of the grille is the top.

Carefully press the badge into the locating holes in the grill, making sure the badge is the correct way up.
The grille then fits into the inside of the front bumper, part 1A.

Make sure you position the grille the correct way up and fix the parts together using 4 x SM screws.

The turn signal lights are a push-fit.

Locate the left housing, part 1D and press it into place in the left light opening. (On the right as you look from the front)
The light body will only fit one way round.

Locate the orange signal lens, part 1F, and press it into place in the light body. Again, it will only fit one way.

Repeat these steps for the other light using part 1E and the other part 1F.

Store the front bumper safely.

STAGE 2:

This set of parts will allow you to build the right front wheel.

Locate the tyre, part 2A, and the outer wheel rim, part 2C.
NOTE: The tyre has the script ‘RIGHT’ on one side.

Fit the wheel rim into the tyre from this side.

Locate the outer rim, part 2D.

This fits into the tyre from the other side. The tyre is marked ‘LEFT’ on that side.
Make sure the fixing tabs are all correctly aligned.

On the RIGHT side of the wheel, fit the hub into place, aligning screw holes with the tabs on the rim.

From the inside of the wheel, screw all the parts together using 3 x BM screws.

Store the completed wheel and the wheel bolts and badge safely for future use.
