Issue 22

Assembling the Right Leg

Picture 1
shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Snap the pins of the tibia outer detail into the holes of the knee frame as shown in pictures 2 and 3.
Fit the two hinge parts together by aligning the holes in both and fix the joint by inserting the plain end of the pin through the hole as shown in picture 4. Push the pin all the through using a small pair of pliers. Fit the remaining part in the same way so the complete assembly looks like picture 5.
Now take the tibia plate and fit the ball joint into the hole as shown in picture 6.
Fit the assembly onto the leg panel as shown in pictures 7 and 8 with an MP screw.

Picture 8 also shows the 5 locating lugs that will fit onto the side of the leg, attaching the pins into the holes to the side of the lower leg cap as shown in pictures 9 and 10.

Finally, fit the lower leg outer plate onto the side of the leg by snapping the two pins into the holes as shown in pictures 11 and 12.

Picture 13 shows the assembly complete for this issue.

Assembling the Pelvis

Picture 1
shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Fit the peg into pelvis detail as shown in pictures 2 and 3. Now turn the assembly over and secure the part with an IP screw, picture 4. Fit the next detail (23C) as shown in pictures 5 and 6.
Finally fit detail (23B) onto the right side of the pelvis as shown in picture 7.

Picture 8 shows the assembly complete for this issue.

Issue 24

Assembling the Pelvis

Note: Before we start with the assembly of this issue, please note that parts 24F and 24G are different , as they are mirror images of each other. Picture 2

So let us get started. Push the left ball joint (24F) into the socket of the left rear plate as shown in pictures 3 and 4. Do the same using the right ball joint (24G) into the right rear plate as shown in picture 5.
Take the assembly from the previous issue and fit the front pelvis detail, pictures 6 and 7.

Now push the circular detail into the three holes as shown in picture 8, followed by the semicircular detail, pictures 9 and 10.

Picture 11 shows the assembly complete for this issue.

Take one of the pelvis inner cylinders and insert it inti the outer cylinder as shown in picture 2. Do the same with the other three-cylinder parts, picture 3.
Fit the pins in the semi-circular detail into the holes in the circular detail, picture 4.
Picture 5 shows the complete assembly.

That completes the assembly for this issue.
