Hi All,
Time for the update for Issue 7. In this update we add the drivers seat base to the backrest and add some more detailing.
Parts supplied..... Pic 1. You will also need the seat assemblies from the previous issue. (#6)
Start by positioning the backrest onto the seat base, noting the pivot points are offset as shown in Pic 2.
The next task is to fit the foam pad (7D) into the base. Note that the foam is wedge shaped and that the thicker end fits inside the front of the base , with the flat side facing you and the sloping side away. Pic 3.
Now positioning the seat base support (7A) over the foam pad. Be sure that you don`t trap the rubberised flap at the front of the base under the support and it goes round the outside of the support frame. Pic 4. Check that the pivots of the backrest are still correctly placed and secure the base support using 4 x PS14 screws. Pic 5.
Keeping the seat in the same position fit the left seat rail (7B) by locating the pins gently into their relevant holes, then press them both into their final position at the same time to avoid any damage. Pic 6. Follow on by fitting the right seat rail (7C) in the same manner. Pic 7.
That completes the work for this update and your drivers seat should be as shown in Pic 8, with the backrest able to pivot as shown in Pic 9.
See you soon for Issue 8, the last in this pack.

Hi All,
Ok, its time for the last update for this pack (Issue 8). In this issue we will start the construction of the inner door panel for the drivers (left side) door.
Parts supplied ..... Pic 1.
Please Note: Before we start there are a couple of things I would like to point out.
The chrome detail strip is delicate and will need to be handled carefully, especially when attaching it with the screws.
The main interior panel comes with a protective plastic support on it. This protects the door lock button on the top edge of the door during transit, but don`t throw this away as it can be used to protect the same part after the completion of this stage.
Lets get on:
Position the chrome detail strip (8D) inside the channel of the interior panel (8A). Pic 2.
Now whilst holding the chrome strip firmly in place, fix it in place with 4 x PS12 screws. Pic 3.
Next we will add the interior door opening handle (8C). Position the handle inside the handle compartment (8B) Pic 4. Then fix the handle inside the compartment using a PS11 screw. Tighten the screw enough so that the handle can still move, but with a little resistance. Pic 5. Keeping the handle in the position previously shown, pass the handle through the interior panel (from the rear side) and locate the handle compartment into position, securing it with 2 x PS05 screws as shown in Pic 6.
That completes this update and the inner side of your interior panel should be as shown in Pic 7.
Place the end of the panel back into the protective plastic frame it came in. This will protect the part during storage until it is needed again as shown in Pic 8.
I`ll be back as soon as the next delivery arrives.
