STAGE 1:

The parts supplied will enable you to begin constructing the rear body panel of the car.

Locate parts 1B & 1C.
Clip the parts together and fix in place using 4 x BP screws fitted from the rear of the parts.

Locate the parts to assemble the right rear light – 1G, 1H, 1I, 1J, 1K.
Fit the parts together as shown in the picture. The parts will only fit one way.
When assembled, fit the light to the right side of the rear panel by sliding the tab on the slanted edge of the light unit into the slot in the metal body panel.
Fix the light unit in place using 1 x BP screw from the rear.

Locate the licence plate and the small pack containing two sticker sheets.
There are doubles of each sticker in case of loss or error.
Carefully peel one of the ‘red’ stickers from the backing paper and place it on the licence plate on the upper left side in the space between the orange stripes.
Repeat with one of the ‘yellow’ stickers, placing it on the upper right of the licence plate.

Locate the licence plate support base – part 1D.
The licence plate fits in the central recess and will only fit one way up.
Turn the assembly over and fix the parts together using 2 x AP screws.

Locate the licence plate light strip – part 1L.
This part fits over the upper edge of the licence plate assembly so that the two small tabs on the rear sit over the two locating points on the licence plate base.
Fix the parts together using 2 x AP screws.

Locate the rear bumper – part 1A.
Carefully fit this into place on the rear body panel.
There are 4 x tabs on the part that will clip into the four slots in the body section.
The bumper will only fit one way up.

Store all of your parts safely for now.

STAGE 2:

The parts supplied will enable you to begin constructing part of the car bodywork and complete the rear section started in the previous stage.

Locate the metal front wing of the car and the two plastic trim strips – parts 2A, 2B & 2C.
The long trim strip fits in the recess in the front wing just behind the wheel arch. The piece will only fit one way.
Secure the trim strip from the other side of the body panel using 2 x AP screws.
The short trim strip fits in the recess in front of the wheel arch and is secured using 1 x AP screw.

Assemble the left rear light in the same way as the other light in stage 1.
Fit the light to the rear body section and secure using 1 x BP screw as before.

Retrieve the previously assembled licence plate and fit it in place on the rear body section between the lights. It will only fit one way.
Secure the part from the other side of the body section using 2 x AP screws.

Store the parts safely until they are needed in the future. (No pun intended…)
