Issue 30
Assembling the Pelvis and Torso
Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.
Take the detail 30D, this has the larger tab of the two parts, picture 2. Put an MP screw in the detail far enough so that the piece enters the notch on the left-hand side of the pelvis, pictures 3 and 4.
Tip: When fixing the screw, it can be a tight fit and you may come to some resistance to place it any further. Do not force the screw as you may break the part. If this happens unscrew it and then screw it back in, you may have to do this a couple of times.
Now take the other detail, the one with the smaller tab as shown in pictures 5 and 6. The easiest method to attach this part is to thread the screw first using the method in the tip above. This will make it much easier to attach once you have done this, pictures 7 and 8.
Snap together parts 30F into 30A as shown in pictures 9 and 10. Next, attach 30E as shown in pictures 11 and 12. Do the same with the left torso detail. Picture 13 shows the two assemblies complete.
Snap in the two assemblies into the central torso as shown in pictures 14 and 15. Take the bracket detail from the previous issue and snap into place as shown in picture 16, followed by the other detail on the opposite side. These will only fit one way as they have a āDā shaped pin.
Picture 17 shows the complete assembly for this issue.
