This box will complete both doors. They will be mounted to the central body structure and stored for future assemblies.
Issue 71 Attach driver's door to the central body structure, 67A
Step 1 Remove the wire and connector labeled “B”.
Step 2 Position the switch into the switch cover.
Step 3 Mount the switch and switch cover to 67A and secure with an AM screw. The wire and connector should go inward towards the center.
Step 4 Mount the right side door to 67A. Secure with 2 RM screws.
Step 5 Mount the door handle With an AP screw.
Step 6 Mount the door latch into the recess of the door as shown with a QM screw.
Step 7 Insert the mirror into the mirror housing. Be careful, the post on the mirror is plastic.
Step 8 Mount the mirror assembly to the door as shown. Secure with a GM screw.
Issue 71 is complete.
Issue 72 Continue assembly of the passenger door.
Steps 1 & 2 The only comment is to make sure the door hinge swings properly.
Steps 3 & 4 Glass protective strip. Put the two strips on as shown.
Issue 73 Door inside panel finish and window and gears and lever.
Steps 1-11 We have already completed the driver’s side door, carefully apply the interior parts as completed on the driver’s door. Finish the window parts Check for operation of the window. Do not over tighten the window gears. Secure interior panel to the door.
Issue 73 is complete.
Issue 74 Mounting the passenger side door.
The passenger side door mounts to the central body structure, 67A, same as the driver side door.
Box 18 is complete.
