Issue 32

Assembling Some Pelvis and Torso Detail.

Picture 1
shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Take the pelvis detail (32E), picture 2 and push it in place as shown in picture 3. Now take the next pelvis detail (32D) picture 4 and push it in place as shown in picture 5.

Take the two front torso details (32F and 32G). These two parts look the same but have a “D” shape slot in them so they will fit only one way.

Note: The parts should face downwards, picture 6. If they face an upwards position, swap the parts around.

Retrieve the delivery ring from issue 26, picture 7 and push fit in place as shown in picture 8. Snap the detail (32C), picture 9, in place as shown in picture 10. Do the same with the opposite detail, (32A) as shown in picture 11.

Retrieve two of the pelvis shock absorbers from issue 26 and snap them into the slotted pins at the rear of the waist, picture 12.

Snap in the lower lumbar plate (32B) onto the lower back of the pelvis, pictures 13 and 14. Do the same with the upper lumbar plate (32H) as shown in picture 15.

Pictures 16 and 17 show both sides of the assembly for this issue.

Issue 33

Assembling Some Pelvis and Torso Detail.

shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Take the parts (33F), (33G) and the two parts (33B), picture 2. Fit the left hinge bar (33F) into one of the back plate hinges (33B), picture 3. Do the same with the right-side part (33G), picture 4.

Place the ball joint of the hinges into the pelvis back plate (33A) as shown in picture 5. Picture 6 shown the front orientation of the assembly.

Carefully turn the ball joints of the hinges (33B) and angle the bars so that you can snap the pins of (33F and 33G) into the side holes in the torso. Pictures 7, 8, 9 and 10 show exactly where it all connects. Note: Take care when flexing the hinges for the pins to line up.

Place the piston (33C) into the mount (33D) as shown in picture 11, then snap it into the front torso detail (33E), pictures 12 and 13.

Now push fit this assembly into the holes on the front of the pelvis as shown in pictures 14 and 15.


Pictures 16 and 17 show both sides of the assembly for this issue.

Issue 34

Assembling Some Pelvis and Torso Detail.

shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Take part (34A) and fit it to the right side of the torso and secure it with an IP screw, pictures 2 and 3. Take the parts (34B, 34G, 34E and 34F), picture 4 and attach the cover detail (34G) into the top of the hole of cover (34B) and secure it with an IP screw. Fit (34E) into the left-hand side of the cover, this part is the narrower one of the two, then fit (34F) to the right-hand side of the cover, pictures 5, 6 and 7. Fit the assembly over (34A) and fix with an IP screw. Carefully flex the pelvis shock absorber and snap it onto the rear pin in (34E), pictures 8 and 9.

Snap the ball joint of detail (34D) into the socket as shown in pictures 10 and 11.

Take one of the shock absorbers from issue 26 and push fit onto the pins as shown in picture 12. Note the orientation of the shock absorber.

Snap the back detail of the right torso (34C) onto the back face of the torso as shown in pictures 13.

Pictures 14 shows the assembly for this issue.

Issue 35

Assembling Some Pelvis and Torso Detail.

shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Take the parts (35F, 35C and a UP screw), picture 2. Insert the pin of the right headlight (35F) into the hole of the bracket (35F) and secure with a UP screw, picture 3. Snap the bracket into the holes on the right of the torso as shown in picture 4. Pass the cable through the gap as shown in picture 5, feeding it towards the front and pull it through the hole in the top of the torso, picture 6.
Note: You may need to use some tweezers to grab the cable to pull it through.

Take the torso detail (35E) and snap it onto the pins as highlighted in picture 7. It is advised to take the pins off, snaping on the detail before returning them to their original location, pictures 8 and 9.

Fix the right pelvis plate onto the protruding ball joint as shown in pictures 10 and 11.

Insert the pin on detail (35B) onto the detail (35D) as shown in picture 12, then secure with an IP screw, picture 13.

Retrieve the right rear plate, assembled in issue 24, picture 14, and connect it to the assembly you’ve just made, by inserting the two pins and push fitting it together, picture 15. Now attach the end of the arm coming off the plate onto the protruding ball joint on the right side of the pelvis, pictures 16 and 17.

Pictures 18 and 19 show both sides of the assembly for this issue.

Issue 36

shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Fit the left side of the torso detail (35A) to the torso on the left side and secure it with an IP screw, pictures 2 and 3. Fit the cover detail (36G) into the top hole of the torso cover (36B) as shown in picture 4 and secure it with an IP screw as you did with the previous side. Identify both cover pins, (36E) is thicker than the other. Fit (36E) to the left hole and (36F) to the right as shown in picture 5. Place the assembly on the left-hand side of the torso and secure with an IP screw, pictures 6 and 7.

Snap one of the ball joints of the left lower torso plate joint (36D) onto the left torso, picture 8.

Snap the remaining shock absorber from issue 26 into the two front pins as shown in picture 9. Pay attention to the orientation of the part.

Finally, push fit the two pins of the rear torso plate (36C) into the back face of the torso, picture 10.

Pictures 11, 12 and 13 show both sides of the assembly for this issue.
