Afternoon all,
Since the end of my Victory build, I have been having a sabbatical from ships and delved into the "dark art" of building trams produced by Occre.
So far I have completed the London LCC 106 and the San Francisco Trams.
This post is The Stuttgart Tram and is an "almost chronological" series of pics at various stages of the build without too much detail on how the parts are assembled.

I was very much tempted by these tram kits when I had a garden railway at my previous house.
No railway here now but I'll be following along with great interest.

Thanks for the kind comments from Roy and Derek.
As a follow up, just a few more pics of the Stuttgart tram.
Hopefully most of them are self explanatory.
About 7/8ths of the way through the build now so a few more pics to follow.

Some of you may have noticed that I have removed one of my pics from Post #1.
For some reason, this was causing me problems with editing.

I've arrived at the end of this tram build so I attach the last few pics.
Apologies for some of them being out of chronological order but I think you'll
get the idea of what I've been doing.

Quite a few changes from "instructions" with the suggested methods and materials. The Trolley in the pic below bears no relation to the suggested one. It looked massive against the model so a bit of tinkering was done.

Does this kit include a display base.

One came with the London L C C 106 which I built a while ago.

Must say I like the OcCre Kits. Their customer service is excellent. If you lose/break and parts they will replace at no cost. ThumpUp ThumpUp

Hi Gil,
The diorama display base comes as an extra. As you say one comes with the London Tram but I haven't bothered to use it and have them displayed on "unused" bookshelves.
I agree about Occre customer services as they are excellent and respond almost immediately.
My one big gripe is the instructions/diagrams are not entirely in synch with one another and a bit of brain scratching is required but that's part of the fun of building these things. It would be boring if A fitted B as well as C fitting D every time would it not?

As I mentioned elsewhere, I now have the Lisbon Tram kit in my stash but I am defecting back to period ships for a while, so it will have to wait.

Thanks for all the kind comments from everyone. See you over in the ships section of the forum very soon.

Stay safe and happy modelling. Chris
