Hi All, BigGrin

Well its been a while Blink , but even I don`t get parts when there are shipping delays beyond anyone`s control. This pack arrived this morning, so here`s the first update Issue 47, which is very short because the parts supplied are not used until the next update (Issue 48).

So, parts supplied....Pic 1.

Next update coming asap, but I am also doing a one man revamp of the whole Italian forum, so please bear with me. Oh and I don`t know a single word of Italian, so its not easy. I`m learning fast though, even at 68. LOL Flapper LOL

Here we are with the update for Issue 48.Blink

In this issue we add to and extend the basic base and support for the Gauntlet.

Parts supplied....Pic 1.
You will also need the parts from Issue 47.

Position the two parts (C58 and C59) for the crossbar support together, Pic 2 and secure them together using 2 x 02 type screws (silver) as in Pic 3. It appears that the crossbar will be clamped inside the Gauntlet at a later stage, which is why it is not fitted to the rest of the base at this time, so keep it safe.

Next, take the two support tubes and the short connector piece, Pic 4 and press them together until they are fully engaged. Pic 5 and 6.

Now recover the base, (last worked on in issue 45) and press fit the support pole fully into the base. Pic 7.

That`s it for this update, Pic 8. One final pic added with thanks to Mark on the FST for the edit.Cool

Hope you liked the added pic on the last update and I`m now here with the update for Issue 49 having taken a break from the Italian forum upgrade.

In this update we will start on the construction of the middle finger. It`s very similar to the previous finger, just a slight size difference.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1.

So, start by placing parts A24 and A25 together. Make sure that they are located together as shown by the "Red" circle in Pic 2. Then whilst keeping the parts in that orientation, fix them together using a type 01 screw (black). Pic 3.

Make sure you keep the assembly from this stage and the part C17 safely, as they will be needed in the next update. Issue 50.

I`m back with the next update, Issue 50.

Parts supplied ..... Pic 1. You will also need the final construction and part C17 from the previous Issue 49.

Start with the end assembly from Issue 49 and position part C18 from this issue in place, engaging the semi circular hole over the metal tab as shown in Pic 2.

Now retrieve the part C17 from the previous issue and position that on the assembly. Ensure that the "T" shaped lug and hole engage properly and parts C17 and C18 align with each other. Pic 3. Then secure parts C17 and C18 using a type 02 screw. Pic 4.

Next position part D04 inside part A26 (supplied with this stage) Pic 5 and secure part D04 using a type 01 screw. Pic 6.

Carefully align the two assemblies in the orientation shown in Pic 7, then press the parts firmly together so they lock together. That`s all for this update, with the final assembly shown in Pic 8.

Here we are with the last update for this pack with Issue 51, so we are now officially over the midway point of this build. Woot ThumpUp

This update extends the middle finger.
Parts supplied..... Pic 1.

You will also need the finished assembly from Issue 50.

Start by placing the washer over the long post of part C19. Pic 2. Retrieve the assembly from Issue 50 and pass the long post of part C19 through it as shown in Pic 3. Note: If this is to tight, DO NOT force it. Very lightly sand/file the post a little and try again.

With part C19 fully inserted the assembly should be the same as Pic 4. The "Red" ring indicates where the end of the long post should be in relation to the other parts.

Next position part A27 in place, ensuring that the trapezoid shaped lug engages with part C19 (red arrow) and it sits outside of part A24 (blue circle) as indicated in Pic 5.

Whilst maintaining the position of the parts, place part D05 over the short post in the orientation shown in Pic 6 and fix it in place using a type 02 screw (silver) Pic 7.

That concludes this update Pic 8.
