Hi Again,
It`s time for the Issue 4 update.
In this update we will complete the solar panel we started in the previous issue.
Note: all screws are inserted using the black handled screwdriver.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1.
Also required: Large solar panel assembly and part 3E from issue 3.
Start by positioning the second panel (part 3J) in the same manner as before and press it in place over the round posts. Pic 2. Position part 3E from the last issue, noting the orientation indicated by the white arrow. Pic 3. then secure the part using 2 x MS4 screws as shown in Pic 4. The assembly should now be the same as Pic 5.
Working at the opposite end of the panels, add part 3G onto the end of the centre bar and press the ends of the panels over the posts as shown in Pic 6. Then fix part 3G to the centre bar using an MS4 screw. Pic 7. Now place parts 3i and 3H over the ends of the panels and fix them in place using 4 x MS4 screws. Note: the inner ends of parts 3i and 3H have small blocks on them. All shown in Pic 8.
Finally, go to the other end of the panels and secure the end piece to the centre bar using an MB7 screw. Pic 9 CAUTION: Do Not over tighten this screw or damage will occur.
That`s it for this update. Pic 10. So carefully store the solar panel and part 2J, covering the solar panels so they do not get scratched.
See you soon for Issue 5.

Hi All,
Here comes the last update for this pack, Issue 5.
In this update we start building the Mini Research Module 1 (MRM1). If my research is correct this unit will attach to the Functional Cargo Block constructed in Pack 1.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1
Base 1 is not used at this time, so is best left in the plastic cover and all screws used in this issue are inserted using the silver NASA screwdriver.
We start by placing parts 4A and 4B together, Pic 2 and fix them together using an AS5 screw. Pic 3. Then take this assembly and locate the post into part 4F Pic 4, fixing them together with an AS5 screw as in Pic 5.
Next take either of the parts 4D and position it into the side of 4F. Pic 6.
Note: that there are four round legs (circled), that fit into their relevant holes. You may need to clean the holes lightly to get the part to fit properly, but when happy with the fit, fix the part using an AS5 screw Pic 7.
Repeat this procedure with the second part 4D, Pics 8 and 9.
Finally position part 4C onto 4F as in Pic 10, then fix it in place using 2 x AS5 screws. Pic 11.
That concludes this update. Pic 12.
See you as soon as the next pack arrives.
