Issue 7

Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.

Installing The Right Engine Bracket

Secure the right engine connector (07B) to the right engine bracket (07C) using an AM screw as shown in pictures 2 and 3. Take the assembly bracket and fix it to the outside of the engine block (07A) securing it with an AM screw, picture 4.

Assembling The Distributor
Take the distributor cap centre (07H) and push fit it into the distributor (07E) as shown in pictures 5 and 6. Next, remove the distributor cap plugs (07F) from the sprue, note you have one spare.
Place all the cap plugs onto the distributor assembly as shown in pictures 7 and 8.

Tip: When placing these caps onto the distributor assembly, start with the centre and work your way around the outside. When placing the caps on, I didn’t push them down all the way, just placed them on enough for them to stay in place. After they were all assembled, I turned the assembly over and gently push it down on a hard surface, such as a worktop, to push them fully onto the distributor assembly.

Push the vacuum advance (07E) onto the side of the distributor as shown in picture 9.

Fitting The Distributor Bracket
Secure the distributor shaft (07D) to the engine block using a TP screw, pictures 10 and 11. Finally push the distributor assembly onto the shaft as shown in picture 12.

Picture 13 shows the complete assembly for this issue.
