Hi All,
Pack 6 arrived this morning, so here`s the first update for this pack, Issue 21.
This pack deals mainly with the internal mid-frame of ET and touches on the gearbox for ET`s extending neck mechanism, in the last issue.
This is a short update, with Parts Supplied.....Pic 1.
Position the waist connection plate 21-02, against the waist structure 21-01. Make sure the connection plate has the four round locating lugs on the top side. Pic 2. Hold the parts firmly together and fix them together using 2 x P-TP screws. Pic 3.
Well that`s all for this update. See you soon for the next one.

Hi All,
Here we go with the update for issue 22. In this issue we will extend the waist and abdominal area frame.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the assembly from the previous update, issue 21.
Please Note: the screws are yet again not labelled. So, as the threads are the same follow this instruction: P-TP screws are the slightly shorter ones and P-TP-B screws are therefore the slightly longer ones.
With the previous assembly from issue 21 on your table, position the waist structure (part 22-01) as shown in Pic 2 and fix it in place using 2 x P-TP screws as in Pic 3.
At this point we add the Abdomen Structural Joint 22-02. Caution: this part has a flat side and a side with a slight slope from the centre to the outer edges. The sloping side must be facing outwards to be correct.
Insert the the part in a downward direction with the sloping face toward you as shown in Pic 4. It is a bit of a tight fit, but be careful and it will fit.
When you are happy with the placement of the Abdominal Structural Joint 22-02, fix it in place using 2 x P-TP-B screws, but DO NOT fully tighten the screws as the part will need slight movement in a later stage, Pic 5.
That ends this update, Pic 6. See you soon for the next update with issue 23.

Hi All,
Time for the next ET update, Issue 23. In this update we extend the inner frame of ET.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the frame as assembled in issue 22.
So, the first thing to do is take a close look at part 23-01. This part has a flat side and an angled side. The angled side will be the outer face of the part when assembled, see Pic 2.
With the flat side of 23-01 on the table, press fit the cable guides 2 x 23-02. Pic 3. Note: If these parts are a loose fit, you can use a little glue. Mine were quite a firm fit and as they are not load bearing I declined to glue them in place.
Now fit the above assembly into the frame from issue 22 and secure it using 2 x P-TP-B screws. Pic 4.
That concludes this update, so I have added a "front" and "rear" shot. Pics 5 and 6.
I`ll see you soon with the next update, issue 24, where we extend the frame further.

Hi All,
Time for the update for Issue 24 of ET. In this issue we extend the side of ET`s frame.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the frame from issue 23.
Start by positioning the side frame 24-01 as shown in Pic 2. Then hold it in place using 2 x P-TP screws, Pic 3. TIP: DO NOT fully tighten these screws. It helps when inserting the next screws.
Now fix the side panel to the front and rear ones, using 4 x P-TP-B screws, Pic 4. Note: To accomplish this the front and rear panels will slope slightly towards each other at the top. (This is correct) Finally tighten the screws previously inserted.
That`s all for this update, Pic 5. See you soon for the issue 25 update.

Hi All,
Here we are with the next ET update, with Issue 25. In this update the second side extension is added.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the frame from Issue 24.
Adding this side panel is made a bit less fiddly, as the front/rear panels are now held in their correct position by the panel added in issue 24. Pic 2.
Position the side panel 25-01, Pic 3. Then secure the part using 2 x P-TP screws as in Pic 4 and 4 x P-TP-B screws as in Pic 5.
That completes this update, Pics 6 and 7.
In Issue 26 we start the construction of the neck extending mechanism, so I`ll se you soon.

Hi All,
Well, here we are at the end of another pack. The last update is for Issue 26, where we start on the assembly of the neck extending mechanism.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1.
Note: The parts for this update are a fairly tight press fit, it is therefore essential that the parts are assembled in a straight line at not at an angle.
Start by pressing the bearing 26-03, onto the short shaft of the gear 26-02, Pic 2. Now carefully position the gear so the bearing fits in hole in the Base 26-01. Press the bearing and gear down, until the bearing is fully seated in the base. Pic 3.
That`s all for this update. Pic 4 shows how the short gear spindle protrudes through the base.
See you as soon as the next pack arrives.
