STAGE 21A:

These parts will allow you to continue assembling the main floor/chassis and the front right wheel arch.

Locate the nitrous oxide solenoid parts, 21E, 21F and 21G.
Press-fit the two solenoids 21F and 21G onto the valve bracket 21E.

Locate the connecting pipe, part 21H and fit it into the two holes in the solenoids. Make sure you fit it the right way around with the angled end closest to the smaller solenoid.

Locate the other solenoid part 21I and the small fitting, 21J.
Fit these parts to the assembly as shown in the picture.

STAGE 21B:

Fit the completed assembly by pressing it into place in the two holes next to the suspension turret on the front right wheel arch, part 21A.

Retrieve the main chassis assembly from the previous stages.

Fit the right wheel arch, part 21A in place on the chassis leg and secure using 4 x EM screws.

Locate the expansion tank parts, 21B, 21C and 21D.
Press-fit the parts together making sure the mounting bracket, part 21D is fitted with the angled section facing outwards.
Press the assembly into place in the other two holes in the right front wheel arch.

Store the assembly for future use.

OPTIONAL ADDED DETAIL:

At this stage you could choose to add carpet to the interior of your model.
The car in the movie had a grey carpeted interior but you could use blue or black.

The transmission tunnel can be covered at this stage.
REMEMBER – This is purely optional at the builders discretion.

STAGE 22:

These parts will allow you to begin assembling the rear seat.

Locate the rear seat back and the back support panel, parts 22A and 22B.
Fit the parts together by fitting the tabs in the seat back top, into the locating slots at the top of the back support panel.

Fix the parts together using a total of 7 x AP screws.

3 x screws in the lower edge of the seat and 2 x screws in each side.

Store the assembly safely.

STAGE 23:

These parts will allow you to begin assembling the car interior.

Locate the main floor section and the pedals, parts 23A and 23B.
The pedals fit to the upper right front of the floor panel. They will only fit one way.
Fix them in place from underneath using 2 x AP screws.

Locate the footrest, part 23C.
This fixes in place on the edge of the right floor panel toward the front, locating in the circular raised post. It will only fit one way.
Fix from underneath using 1 x AP screw.

Store the assembly safely for now.

OPTIONAL DETAIL:

At this stage, the floor section can be carpeted if the builder chooses to do so.
It will be easier to add carpets at the beginning of this stage, before the pedals and footrest are fitted.
Once any carpeting is in place, the locating screw holes etc in the floor can easily be opened using a cocktail stick from underneath.
Adding carpets is entirely at the builders discretion.

STAGE 24:

These parts will allow you to begin assembling the rear seat.

Locate the main floor section and the seat back, parts 23A and 24A.
Fit the rear seat base, part 24A onto the main floor, at the back.
Fix it in place from underneath using 6 x EP screws.

Locate the two seat side supports, parts 2 x 24B. They are both the same.
Press the supports in place on each side of the seat base.
They will only fit one way around.
Fix in place using 2 x BP screws on each part.

Locate the previously assembled seat back, part 22A/B.
Clip this in place on the underside of the main floor section and then fix in place with 2 x BP screws.

Locate the two seat belt clips, parts 2 x 24C. They are both the same.
Press these into place in the holes in the seat base.
Make sure they are pointing outwards.

Store the assembly safely for now.

STAGE 25:

These parts will allow you to begin assembling the driver’s seat.

Locate the upper seat back parts 25A and 25F.
Press the parts together.

Locate 2 x adjuster knob, parts 2 x 25B and 2 x recliner plate, parts 2 x 25C.
Press these parts into place on each side of the seat.
The recliner plates will only fit one way.

Fix the seat parts together using 4 x EP screws.

Locate the backrest levers, 2 x 25E. Both parts are the same.
Press one into the upper location on each side of the seat back.

Store the assembly safely.

STAGE 26:

These parts will allow you to complete the driver’s seat.

Locate the seat base parts 26A and 26D.
Press the two parts together

Locate the two seat side panels, parts 26B and 26C.
Fit them to each side of the seat base. They will only fit one way.
Secure them with 2 x AP screws in each part.

Locate the two recliner adjusting knobs, 2 x 26H and the shaft, 26G.
Press on knob onto the shaft.

Retrieve the assembled seat back from the previous stage and fit it in place on the seat base.
Slide the shaft through the holes in the seat parts, fixing them in place.
Fit the other adjuster knob on the other end of the shaft.

Locate the two seat trim panels, parts 26E and 26F.
Press them in place on each side of the seat. They will only fit one way.

Store the assembly safely.
