That's really impressive work, the card tiles look really great and with the copper paint added they just look superb. That's a lot of hard work and a lot of patience there. I shall be watching your progress with great interest. You've thrown a lot of new ideas into the mix. A cracking job mate, well done!

A small warning here,I was just painting the fighting top,getting on really well,put the fighting top down to dry,and getting on with something else went back an hour later,to put on another coat of black paint,when I picked it up,the fillets all came away,the reason,I'd used aliphatic glue on them,and the thinned down acrylic paint being water based had disolved the glue,again I should have read the instructions properly,should have used superglue.

Karl, the top of the mast battens are placed all around the square section above the mast top and not just the forward and aft face; see the completed mast photo on page 13 of 62 Wink
