Hi All,
Here we are with the next pack of the Infinity Gauntlet. This pack covers issues 67 - 71, or would do if it were not for a packing error that is in the process of being corrected. Issues 67 -69 are ok, so I`ll crack on with them and await the missing bits.
Issue 67: Fitting the internal reinforcement to the inner forearm.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the Inner Forearm plate from issue 66.
Take the internal reinforcement and position it in the channel near the top of the inner forearm plates, Pic 2. Then fix it in place using 7 x type 01 screws. NOTE: Put all seven screws in before you fully tighten them and then tighten them in the order shown in Pic 3. This will draw the tops of the plates together.
That`s it for this update, Pic 4. See you soon for issue 68.

Hi All,
Time for the next update for the Gauntlet with issue 68.
In this issue, we fit the first plate at the lower end of the inner forearm.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the inner forearm from issue 67.
Take the part A81 and position it as shown in Pics 2 and 3. In Pic 2 note the indicated hole where it fits over a screw post. Pic 3 shows the whole plate in place.
Whilst holding the plate firmly in place, fix it using 3 x type 1 screws (other screws will be added in issue 69).
That`s all for this update. In issue 69 the Gauntlet starts coming together and you will see the full size of this model appearing.

Hi All,
Yup, its time for the update of issue 69. In this issue we finish the inner forearm by adding the second plate on the lower edge. THEN you need to clear a space, because this thing is gonna get BIG as the Gauntlet starts to take shape.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the inner forearm from issue 68. Once we have dealt with the parts supplied, you will also need: The back of the hand (stones removed for safety), the outer forearm and the cross piece from the stand.
Lets start with the easy bit.
Position the plate A82 (supplied) onto the inner forearm and fix it in place using 5 x type 1 screws, as indicated in Pic 2. That completes the inner forearm, so for now put it somewhere safe. Not to far away as you will need it again soon (later in this update).
OK here we go, its time to retrieve the outer forearm (issue 44) and the back of the hand (issue 22), Pic 3. Don`t forget to remove the stones from the back of the hand to protect them, as these parts are going to get a lot of handling at this point.
Position the top edge of the outer forearm, inside the lower edge of the back of the hand. Make sure that the areas circled fully engage with each other. Pic 4. These parts now need 10 screws to hold them together. 4 x type 1 screws in Pic 5 and 6 x type 1 screws in Pic 6.
Now place the cross piece of the stand (from issue 48) inside the assembly. Pic 7. This part will only fully engage if it is the correct way round.
Leaving the assembly as it is, now place the inner forearm over it, Pic 8. Note: The bottom edge aligns using the tabs and slots and the top aligns using the brown plastic reinforcing part on the inside of the inner forearm to the screw posts. The top edge of the inner and outer forearm parts are now fixed using a type 1 screw on each side. Pics 9 and 10. Make sure in both cases that the cross piece is correctly located as circled.
That completes this update. You now have a choice to make as to how you store this assembly. Lying down or as I chose, carefully positioned on the stand. Pics 11 and 12. BEWARE: which ever storage method you choose, don`t forget the forearm parts are only connected by two screws so handle carefully.
At this point my build will halt for a while, whilst I await replacements for the missing parts of this pack. It happens to us too. Update: Issues 70 - 72 will be added to this thread at a later date, when I get the parts for issue 70.
