jase i was looking through your whole thread earlier today, great pictures. i saw victory in august during part of the refit, so saw her with no top masts. the one thing that really caught my attention, and you can see it in your pictures is the uneveness of all the hull planking. as modrllers we go to a great deal of bother sanding everything to a smooth finish when really we should be leaving great big lumps and bumps all over the placeBigGrin

I have great big lumps and bumbs all of my model!! not sure i can claim its an eye for accuracy though LOL LOL LOL

But yes you are right by the very nature of the ship being wood it would be uneven and when in active service would have evidance of repair etc. when i first started modeling as a youngster if i went wrong I would make it look like damage, I still fall back on that from time to time

Hi Jase

I am new to this forum. I have just recently signed up for my subscription so I am still awaiting my 1st parckage to arrive but I was wondering if you would be so very kind as to include me in your list for your Detail packs. I shall of course send you a private message confirming my email address. If you could send all of the ones you have completed so far, that would be excellent. I intend to do as much reading as I down intend to start building anything until I've got most of the issues at hand.

Thanks
Andy
