Issue 1

Contents
Couch parts, Backrest, Backboard, Seat, Left and Right Armrests, Picture Frame, Picture, Back Wall, Linus and Snoopy Characters, Screws, Screwdriver.

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

And here is the first pack of this build. I have to say the parts are well put together and the size of the room is around 21cm across, which is far bigger than I expected.

So let’s get cracking on with the first two issues.

Assembling the Couch
Take the seat and place it so the holes for the backrest are at the back. Take the left armrest and place it into the two slots on the left-hand side of the seat, picture 2. Note: the slanted sides fit at the back of the backrest. Secure it with two of the screws as shown in picture 3.
Now take the right armrest and secure it with two screws to the right slots in the seat, picture 4.

Now take the backrest and again secure with two more screws, pictures 5 and 6. Picture 7 shows Snoopy and Linus sitting on the couch. We will be assembling the cushions in the next issue.

Assembling the Picture Frame
Take the picture frame, note that the wider border is at the bottom. Take off the backing of the picture and place it into the frame, pictures 8 and 9.

The picture will fit into the slot as shown in pictures 10 and 11. Note: This will be glued in place in the next issue.

This completes the assembly for this issue.

More soon.

Issue 2

Contents
Couch parts, Large Seat Pad and base, 2 x Small Seat Pads and base, Side Tabletop and Side Table Frame, Side Table Legs, Charlie Brown and Sally Characters, Quick Drying Glue.

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Assembling the Couch

Take the large seat pad and the large back base, picture 2, and push fit the pins of the base into the holes on the seat pad, picture 3. Now do the same with the smaller seat parts, picture 4.

Take the couch from issue one and place the large seat cushion on the couch as shown in picture 5. Now place the two smaller cushions onto the larger cushion as shown in picture 6.

Assembling the Side Table
Note that you will be using a small amount of quick drying glue in these next steps. I would recommend placing a small drop of glue into a small container. I used a milk carton plastic top and used a cocktail stick to apply the glue.

Take the side table frame and dab a spot of glue to all four pins as shown in picture 7. Place the side tabletop onto the frame so all four pins fit firmly into the top, picture 8.

Take the four legs and note which way they will fit as shown in picture 9.

Place the top of the leg pin and dip it into the glue, so a small amount covers the notch and place it into the bottom of the side table as shown in picture 10. Note, these will only fit one way. Now do the same with the remaining three legs, pictures 11 and 12. Whilst you have the glue available, place the picture from the last issue into the wall and dab a little glue around the back of the picture frame to hold it in place.

Assembling the Floor
Take the floor and have the wooden flooring base to the front, picture 13. Put some glue into the three tabs, also shown in picture 13 and fix the wall into the floor before the glue has time to set, picture 14.

Picture 15 shows the complete assembly for this issue. Note the couch and side table have only been temporarily put in their place until the next instalments.

The last picture is the cartoon scene of the very part we are making for those wanting to have a chuckle.
