Hello people,
Those older members who know me from previous times will remember that I announced that I was taking a bit of a sabbatical from modelling, after losing my mojo and wishing to spend more time pursuing another of my hobbies, that being fishing.
Well, I am getting older and less able ( or willing!) to spend time out in the cold chasing my elusive quarry. With that said I have decided that it's time for me to finally hang up my fishing rods after a lifetime of fishing and with renewed enthusiasm and a large slice of mojo to finally get back to my modelling bench!
I have made some more progress with this build since I last posted on any of my projects, so watch this space for a forthcoming update on this, and other builds of mine that have been dormant on this forum for way too long, along with some new and exciting ones I'll be starting in the not too distant future!
Looking forward to getting stuck in again!!

It will be great to see you back in full swing again, you’ve alway had so much to bring to the table. We are all getting older, but glad you’ve got your mojo back. Mark

Hello again Trev,
Thanks for looking in and for your kind comments, greatly appreciated as always!
Looking forward to seeing more of your Tombstone build, one of my favourite build diaries here on the forum, especially as so much of it has been scratchbuilt from wooden coffee stirrers - simply amazing! Will be interested also to see your two ship builds and especially the fully scratchbuilt Mayflower, that will be no mean feat indeed!!
I wish you success with all of your builds Trev and itching to see more from you.

As a mad keen Ayrton Senna fan, this was always going to be the first of my incomplete builds that would be finished now that I am posting again. I have others to finish of course, and some new ones to start going forward. Hopefully some of my builds will help to generate some greater interest from other members, since I've noticed that there aren't many non part-work builds on here of late and that a lot of members who used to post builds on here rarely do so nowadays! It would be nice to return to the 'buzzing' forum that it once was a few years ago?
I know you are a mad keen Jaguar fan and I have recently acquired the lovely Tamiya 1:24 Jaguar Mk.II kit along with some exquisitely 3D printed wire wheels which are so thin and more 'in scale' that they will totally transform the finished model. I may put that one up very soon as one of my new builds perhaps?
All the best Roy.
Kev

Very nice work Kev, as always.
It is pointless in putting more detail into something you won't see.
Great to see you back on this.
