STAGE 31:

This set of parts will allow you to add the fuel lines and injectors to the engine.

Retrieve the main engine assembly.

Locate the upper radiator hose and connector, parts 31G and 31H.
Press the two parts together. They will only fit one way.

OPTIONAL DETAIL:
As with the other hoses previously fitted, you can add a little extra detail by adding hose clips using thin strips of silver or foil tape.
This is purely at the builder’s discretion.

You may find it easier to temporarily remove the fan to do this.

Locate the small pack of injectors, 6 x 31K.
NOTE: There is not a spare included.

Locate the two packs of fuel pipes, 6 x 31I and 6 x 31J.
Note that parts 31J are longer.
Again, there are no spares.

DEVIATION TO THE PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS:

You will find it far easier to fit the pipes to the engine without the injectors in place, NOT in the way the printed instructions advise.

Open the ends of the pipes using a cocktail stick and fit the shorter pipes to the RED connectors on the fuel rail and the longer pipes to the BLUE connectors.
Then fit the pipes to the ‘Y’ shaped injector and press the injector in place on the manifold.

Assemble the other 5 x injectors and fuel pipes in the same way.

Store the assembly and other unused parts safely for now.
