More on this pile...
I've built up the rear oil tank and coolers and added a few bits of missing gubbins.
Still more to add.
To get over the terrible mis-alignment of all the rear suspension parts and exhausts, I've taken the exhausts off.
I've cobbled up the brake parts using steel washers. Not very accurate but better than no brakes at all.
I've binned all the kit resin rods for the trailing arms etc and I'm using 1.5mm stainless steel rod.
Each bit is cut and bent to shape and then tweaked and trimmed to fit into pre-drilled holes in the hub and transmission.
Part of the exhaust is back in a better position.
I cut off the header pipes and moved them to fit.
In case you're wondering, the model is sitting on a poly sheet so I can slide it around easily without having to pick it up and possibly disturb the suspension parts before the glue has properly set.roymattblack attached the following image(s):

The rear suspension etc is now just about done.
All the arms/rods etc are 1.5mm steel rod cut and formed to fit.

Well you're certainly getting there despite your troubles with what looks to be the most awful kit ever to be produced! It was clearly produced by someone who didn't know what they were doing!
Not far to go now though and I'm sure it will look a lot more respectable once you have those nice 'Marlboro-BRM' decals applied?
Keep up the good work Roy will be following with interest!

It's never going to be a good model, just a 'representation' of the actual car.
I know I'm repeating myself but it genuinely is the absolute worst manufactured kit I've ever come across.
Usually I'd be adding all kinds of wiring, pipework, plumbing etc but TBH I can't be bothered with this one.
It really isn't worth the extra effort.
Anyway, front suspension fitted, steering rods added - the kit had none.
Wings in place and wheels positioned but not fixed on yet.
