This is one I built some years ago.

The kit is probably the most detailed kit I've ever come across, even going beyond the old Pocher classics.

Anyway, it was a fun build.
I tried to make it look like a real old, used car.
I added loads of wiring, carpets and real leather trim.

If you've ever been tempted by this kit, I'd say go for it.
You won't regret it.

Wow!!

Where have you been hiding this one Roy, it looks fantastic and very realistic!! I love the old classic and vintage cars they always look so elegant with their two tone colour schemes and many chromed parts. You've made a very good job of that and I like the way you've treated the well-used and slightly rusted parts underneath, again very realistic and nicely done. It has a slightly 'oily' look to some of the parts too and the added detail in that engine bay looks brilliant. Beautiful gloss finish to the bodywork in those last two photos!!

Very well done Roy, top job. Are you hiding any more great builds from the past at all? Cool

Kev

Many thanks Kev.
I must admit I went hugely overboard on this build. Probably the most I've ever done on a plastic kit.
I've got over 1100 pics of the build.

The model is currently languishing in my garage - somewhat dusty and neglected but I intend getting it out again and cleaning it up to go in my work room in a case.

I was actually offered silly-money for it a few years back but declined.

Hi Roy, what a superb model. When I first looked at it without a scale background it looks like the real car. Well done. Stu.
