STAGE 27:
The parts in this stage are to continue assembling the left air intake system.
Retrieve the intake assembly from the previous stage and locate the left intake chamber, part 27A. Fit the parts together. They will only fit one way.
Locate the intake hose, part 27C and fit it into the end of the intake chamber. It will only fit one way.
Locate the other part of the intake chamber, part 27B. Fit this to the intake assembly, trapping part 27C in place. Secure the assembly using 3 x DP screws.
Locate the other part of the intake hose, part 27D and press it into place on part 27C.
Locate the two parts of the fuel return line, 27F and 27G. Fit the clear hose, 27G to the end of part 27F. It does not matter which end you fit it to as the part is symmetrical.
Press these parts into place on the manifold, part 26A. Make sure the clear hose is at the end of the manifold, away from the intake hose, parts 27C and 27D.
Locate the intake sensor, part 27E and press it into place on the intake manifold, part 27A. It will only fit one way.

STAGE 28:
The parts in this stage are for continuing to assemble the left cylinder head.
Locate the two cylinder head parts, 28A and 28B. Fit them together and secure with 2 x QP screws. The parts will only fit one way.
Locate the 2 x cylinder head ends, parts 28C and 28D. Fit them in place on the previous assembly. The parts will only fit one way. Secure them using 2 x EP screws.
Locate the other part of the cylinder head, 28E. Fit this to the previous assembly and fix using 2 x PP screws. The parts will only fit one way.
Locate the 2 x cylinder head ends, parts 28F and 28G. Press these into place on the ends of the cylinder head. The parts will only fit one way.
Locate the upper cylinder head, part 28H. Fit this to the head assembly and secure with 2 x PP screws.
Locate the valve cover, part 28I and press into place on the cylinder head assembly.
Locate the 3 x ignition coils, parts 3 x 28J. Press these into place on the cylinder head valve cover. They will only fit one way.

STAGE 29:
The parts in this stage are for continuing to assemble the left cylinder head.
Retrieve the cylinder head assembly from stage 28. Locate the left crankcase, part 29A and fit it to the cylinder head. It will only fit one way. Secure using 2 x PP screws.
Locate the two exhaust manifold parts 29E and 29G. The parts will only fit together one way but take care not to break the locating pin. The three manifold ends should all be in line.
Locate the 3 x flange brackets. Note that one is different to the other two. Fit the brackets to the ends of the manifold pipes. The parts will only fit one way.
Locate the cylinder head side wall, part 29B and fit the manifold in place. Fix from behind using 3 x JP screws.
Retrieve the left bank engine assembly and fit the cylinder head part 29B in place on the side. Secure using 2 x RP screws.
Locate the cylinder head detail part 29F. This pushes into place in the two holes on the top left side of the engine assembly.

STAGE 30:
The parts in this stage are to begin assembling the right cylinder head.
Locate the right fuel rail and right intake manifold, parts 30A and 30B. Press the parts together. They will only fit one way.
Locate the 6 x injectors, parts 6 x 30C. NOTE: There are no spares! Cut one injector from the sprue and locate the 6 fuel tubes, parts 6 x 30D.
THE FOLLOWING ASSEMBLY METHOD IS FAR EASIER THAN THE PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS. If you try to follow the printed instructions, you will find fitting the fuel tubes extremely difficult.
Press one of the fuel tubes onto a connecting pin on the fuel rail, and press the injector into the other end of the tube. Make sure the square tab on the injector is facing down, toward the manifold. Bend the tube over and press the injector into the locating hole on the manifold. Fit the other five tubes and injectors in the same way.

STAGE 31:
The parts in this stage are to continue assembling the right intake manifold.
Retrieve the manifold assembly and locate the air intake chamber, part 31A. Fit the part to the intake manifold with the three locating stubs going through the locating holes in the manifold plate. The parts will only fit one way.
Locate the air intake hose, part 31C and fit it into place on the open end of the air intake chamber. The parts will only fit one way.
Locate the other half of the intake chamber, part 31B and fit it into place on the other part of the intake chamber, trapping the hose, part 31C in place. Secure using 3 x DP screws.
Press the other half of the air hose, part 31D into place on part 31C. The parts will only fit one way.
Locate the two parts of the fuel line, parts 31F and 31J. Press the clear pipe onto one end of the fuel line, part 31F. It does not matter which end as the part is symmetrical. Press the assembly into place on the manifold making sure the clear tube is pointing away from the air intake hose.
Locate the small air sensor, part 31E and press it into place in the hole just below the intake hose. The part will only fit one way.
Locate the three parts of the fuel filter, 31G, 31H and 31I. Press the three parts together in that order. The parts will only fit together one way.
