Hi All, BigGrin

Time for an update on the big 1:6 Mustang. This pack covers issues 49 - 53 and in this update (issue 49) we add the front fender guard panels to the main chassis.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the main chassis.

The fender guard panels are marked "R" and "L" for identification, position them as shown in Pic 2.

Position the right side panel (49A) and fix it in place using 2 x DS02 screws as shown in Pic 3, noting that the part slopes toward the front of the chassis. Repeat this procedure with the left panel (49B), also using 2 x DS02 screws to fix it in place, Pic 4.

That`s it for this update, Pic 5 shows the panels in place.

Back with the Mustang again, for the Issue 50 update. In this issue we build up the steering rods.

Take care during the assembly process as the connections can be assembled incorrectly. Don`t ask how I know, I just do.Blushing Flapper LOL

Parts supplied.....Pic 1.

Start with parts 50B and 50C, connecting them together using a DS25 screw and using the orientation shown in Pic 2.

Now add part 50A, fixing it with another DS25 screw and with the orientation shown in Pic 3.

The last part to add is 50D, this is also fixed using another DS25 screw and the orientation shown in Pic 4.

That completes this update, Pic 5. It should be noted at this point that the screw heads are all on the same side af the assembly, along with the toothed steering rack and the locating post not yet used.
