Issue 67

Assembling the Left Arm.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Fit the elbow plate (67F) into the elbow bend post and align the holes as shown in picture 2. Align the pin (67G) with a pair of pliers or tweezers and push the pin through the hole, picture 3. You will need to push the pin all the way in. I used the back of a small pair of pliers to do this. The pin can be quite stiff to push in, so be careful not to damage any of the parts, picture 4.

Snap the arm plate (67D) into position connecting the three pins in front of the arm, pictures 5 and 6.

Fit the arm coil ball joint (67E) over the end of the coil (67A) and secure the parts with a YP screw, picture 7. Push fit the arm coil joint onto the top of the outer side of the arm, picture 8.

Place the arm outer disk (67C) on the circular part of the arm coil, making sure the inner notch of the disk matches the tab on the coil. Secure with a KP screw, picture 9.

Finally, snap the arm outer disk cover (67B) in place in the orientation as shown in picture 10.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 68

Assembling the Left Arm.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Fit the barrel front cover (68B) and rear barrel cover (68A) on the shoulders of the barrel body, picture 2. Note that the small slot on the side is closer to the back. Now fit the front cover trim (68F) onto the front cover, pictures 3 and 4.

Fit the arm cap (68J) onto the support arm (68G), then position the arm as shown in pictures 5 and 6.

Position the barrel joint (68D) and fit it onto the barrel support arm and secure it with a ZP screw, pictures 7 and 8.

Now fit the retaining plate (68I) onto the rear pin as shown in picture 9, then place the support cap (68H) onto the end, aligning the internal pin with the groove, picture 10. Add the side plate (68E) to the assembly as shown in picture 11.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 71

Assembling the Left Arm.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Snap fit the cover (71B) onto the shoulder plate (71A), pictures 2 and 3. Then inside the plate 71A place the inner plate (71C) and secure it with 2 x IP screws, pictures 4 and 5.

Take one of the parts (71F) and part (71G) and fit one of the shorter pins (71H) as shown in pictures 6 and 7, pushing in the pin smooth side first, picture 8. Repeat the same operation with the upper outer joint (71J), picture 9.

Insert the connector (71I) into the assembly connectors noting their orientation and secure the three pieces with the long pin (71K), picture 10.

Carefully fit the outer joint plate (71D) into the holes on the flat side of the connectors, picture 11.

Insert the joint connector assembly into the inner joint (71E) and secure with a QM screw as shown in picture 12. Now press this assembly onto the shoulder plate, pushing the pins in the holes, picture 13.

Note: If you have trouble getting the pins in place as I did, you can undo the inner shoulder plate screws, attach the assembly and then re-attach the inner shoulder plate with the screws.

Now place the complete assembly to the left arm and secure with an AM screw on the opposite side as shown in pictures 14 and 15.

Pictures 16 shows the complete assembly for this issue.
