STAGE 32A:

The parts in this stage are to begin assembling the right cylinder head.

Locate the two cylinder head parts 32A and 32B.
Fit the parts together and fix using 2 x QP screws.

Locate the two cylinder head end parts, 32C and 32D.
The parts are different and will only fit in place on each correct end.
Secure the parts using 2 x EP screws.

Locate the other cylinder head panel, part 32E and fix it in place on the assembly using 2 x EP screws.
The part will only fit one way.

Locate the other two end panels, parts 32F and 32H.
You will see that they are different and will only fit in place one way on each end of the cylinder head.
Press the parts firmly into place.

STAGE 32B:

Locate the silver end panel part 32G and fix in place on the end of the cylinder head. It will only fit one way.
Secure using 2 x OP screws.

Locate the upper cylinder head, part 32I and fix in place using 2 x EP screws.
It will only fit one way.

Locate the cylinder head cover, part 32J and press it into place on the cylinder head.
It will only fit one way.

Locate the 3 x coil plugs, parts 3 x 32K.
Press them into place on the top of the cylinder head. They will only fit one way.

Retrieve the fuel filter assembly, 31G, from the previous stage.
Press the semi-circular pin onto the hole on the side of the cylinder head.
It will only fit one way.

Store the assembly safely for later use.

STAGE 33:

The parts in this stage are to continue assembling the right cylinder head and crank case.

Retrieve the cylinder head from stage 32 and locate the crank case part 33A.
Fix the parts together using 2 x PP screws. The parts will only fit together one way.

Locate the right manifold and the three flanges, part 33E, 33D and 2 x 33C.
Note the centre flange, part 33D is different to the other two flanges.
Fit the flanges onto the manifold pipes with the stud detail facing the manifold pipes.
The flanges will only fit one way.

Locate the cylinder head part 33B and fit the manifold in place.
Fix the parts together from the other side using 3 x JP screws.

Fit the assembly to the main cylinder head, part 33E and fix using 2 x RP screws.

Locate the chrome cylinder head part 33F and press it into place in the two holes at the top right of the main assembly.
It will only fit one way.

Store the assembly safely for later use

STAGE 34A:

The parts in this stage are to finish assembling the crank case.

Locate the crank case parts 34A and 34B.
Fit the parts together and secure using 2 x OM screws.

Locate the breather hose and the oil line, parts 34C and 34D.
Fit them to the two pins on the top edge of the crankcase.
Note, the clear breather hose goes on the end pin.

Locate the alternator parts 34E and 34F.
Press the parts together. They will only fit one way.

OPTIONAL ADDED DETAIL:
You can use a black fine point marker pen to colour the ventilation holes in the end of the alternator, part 34E for some added detail.
This is entirely at the builder’s discretion.

STAGE 34B:

Locate the regulator parts 34G and 34H.
Press the parts together and then fit the assembly to the alternator.
All these parts will only fit one way.

Locate the two blue pipe fittings, parts 2 x 34I.
Press them into place on the pins on part 34G.
Make sure to angle them upwards correctly.

Fit the alternator to the crank case and secure from underneath using 1 x EP screw.

Retrieve the left cylinder head and crank case assembly and fit it to the lower crank case, part 34A.
It will only fit one way on the correct side.
Secure the parts using 2 x KM screws.

Retrieve the right cylinder head and crank case assembly and fit it to the lower crank case, part 34A.
It will only fit one way on the correct side.
Secure the parts using 2 x KM screws.

Store the assembly safely for later use.

STAGE 35:

The parts in this stage are assembling the distributor and ignition leads.

Locate the distributor parts, 35A, 35B and 35C.
Assemble the parts and fix using 1 x EP screw through the top of the distributor.
The parts will only fit one way.

Locate the 6 x yellow ignition leads, parts 6 x 35D.
Fit these to the six pins on the top of the distributor.

Retrieve the engine assembly and fit the distributor to the left bank cylinder head.
Secure using 2 x EP screws.

Connect the 6 x ignition leads to the coil plugs.
Use the picture to make sure you fit the correct lead to each coil plug.

Locate the transmission rod, part 35E.
Fit this to the right side of the engine in the two holes at the upper edge of the cylinder head.
The part will only fit one way.

Store the assembly safely for later use.

STAGE 36A:

The parts in this stage are for adding the throttle rod and connecting pipes.

Locate the three throttle rod parts, 36B, 36C and 36C.
Press the parts together. They will only fit one way.

Locate the throttle rod mounts, parts 36A and 36E.
Note the parts are different.
Press the parts onto the throttle rod. They will only fit one way on the correct end.

Locate the two radiator hoses, parts 36H and 36I.
Note that they are different. The left hose, 36H is slightly longer.
Also note that both hoses have a tighter curve at one end. This end is the one that fits to the engine.

Locate the fixing holes in the end of each cylinder head and fit the left hose, 36H to the left cylinder head and the right hose, 36I to the right cylinder head.

Retrieve the left intake assembly and press the three lower pins into the three locating holes in the left cylinder head, allowing the ignition leads to go through the manifold neatly.

STAGE 36B:

Retrieve the right intake assembly and press the three lower pins into the three locating holes in the right cylinder head, also allowing the ignition leads to go through the manifold neatly.

Retrieve the throttle rod assembly and carefully feed it behind the two intake chambers and fit the brackets into the holes on the intake manifolds.
The parts will only fit one way.

Locate the fuel hose, part 36G.
Feed the hose behind the right intake chamber with the yellow end connecting to the right pin on the fuel filter, part 31I, and the blue end into the hole on the end of the right throttle rod.

Locate the other fuel hose, part 36F.
Feed the hose behind the left intake chamber with the yellow end connecting to the left pin on the fuel filter, part 31I, and the blue end into the hole on the end of the left throttle rod.

Fit the ends of the two fuel return pipes, parts 31J and 27G onto the two pins on the fuel pressure regulator, part 34H.

Store the assembly safely for later use.
