STAGE 39:
These parts are for assembling the rear differential.
Locate the differential part and the 2 x driveshaft dust covers, parts 39D and 2 x 39B. Fit the dust covers in place at each end of the differential. They will only fit one way.
Locate the other half of the differential, part 39E and fit this in place on the assembly, trapping the dust covers in place. Secure using 2 x AP screws.
Fit the end cover panel, part 39F in place on the end of the assembly. It will only fit one way.
Retrieve the rear sub frame assembly and fit the differential in place over the two locating tabs on the rear of the sub frame and under the front support bar. Secure using 2 x AM screws at the rear and 1 x AP screw at the front.
Locate the 2 x drive shafts and 2 x CV joint boots, parts 2 x 39A and 2 x 39C. Fit the boots to one end of the drive shafts. Both ends are the same.
OPTIONAL DETAIL: You could add circlips to the boots using thin strips of metal foil tape or silver paint. This is entirely at the builder’s discretion.
Fit the drive shafts in place between the differential and the outer hub on each side. Contrary to the printed instructions, you will find it far easier to fit the outer end of the shaft against the hub FIRST, before attaching the shaft to the differential.

STAGE 40:
This part is for the rear section of the chassis.
Retrieve the main assembly and locate the rear section, part 40A. Fit this in place on the rear of the main chassis and secure using 4 x EM screws through the locating points near the chassis centre, and 2 x EM screws on the outer locating points.
Store the assembly safely for now.

STAGE 41A:
These parts are for the rear suspension.
Locate the left rear suspension arm (marked ‘L’) and the two brackets, parts 41A and 2 x 41J. Fit the brackets to the ends of the arm and secure with 2 x AJM screws. Retrieve the rear sub frame assembly and fit the upper arm over the locating tab on the left steering knuckle. Make sure the letter ‘L’ is facing outwards on the sub frame. Fix the part in place using 1 x AEM screw.
Locate the two left shock absorber parts (marked ‘L’) 41B and 41C. Fit the parts together so that the small rectangular tabs are both on the same side. Fix the parts together using 1 x XM screw.
Locate the shock absorber and spring, parts 41D and 41I. Fit the spring in place on the end of the shock absorber part 41D and press the other shock absorber assembly into place, inside the spring so that the rectangular tab slides down inside the slot in part 41D. Twist the assembly in opposite directions to lock the parts together.
Fit the assembled shock absorber over the lower end of the left rear knuckle and fix using 1 x AEM screw. Make sure the rectangular tab on the top of the shock absorber is facing outwards on the sub frame.roymattblack attached the following image(s):

STAGE 41B:

STAGE 42A:
A delayed update as I've been waiting for a replacement part I lost...!
These parts are for assembling the rear chassis stabilisers.
Retrieve the rear sub frame assembly and place it upside down. Locate the reinforcing bar, part 42A and fit it in place on the two cross members, parts 37B and 37E and fix in place using 2 x AM screws.
Locate the left and right rear stabiliser bars, parts 42C and 42D. Fit these in place on the rear of the sub frame and fix using 2 x AM screws. The parts will only fit one way.
Locate the centre stabiliser bar and two brackets, parts 42B, 42F and 42G. Fit the parts together, paying attention to the positions of the brackets so that the small ‘teeth’ face in opposite directions, outwards. Fix the parts using 2 x MP screws. Fit the assembly in place on the sub frame, locating the ‘teeth’ on the brackets in the corresponding holes in the stabiliser bars.
Retrieve the steering rack, part 39G from stage 39. Locate the two steering arms, parts 42H and 42I. Fit the arms to the steering rack paying attention to the curve in the arms. They must both face the same way.

STAGE 42B:
Fit the assembly to the sub frame by feeding the left arm through the centre stabiliser bar. Locate the ends of the steering arms onto the steering knuckles and fix using 2 x AIM screws. Fix the rack to the sub frame using 2 x CM screws.
Locate the chassis stiffener, part 42E and fit it in place on the ends of the rear stabiliser bars. Fix using 2 x AP screws. The part will only fit one way.
Locate the prop shaft, part 42J and fit the end into the differential. It will only fit one way.
Retrieve the main assembly and place it upside down. Fit the sub frame assembly in place, locating the shock absorbers into the holes in the wheel arches, and the prop shaft into the end of the transmission case.
Fix the control arm brackets on each side of the sub frame to the main chassis using 2 x AM screws in each arm.
Turn the main assembly the right way up and fix the shock absorbers in place through the wheel arches using 2 x CM screws.
Use the pictures as a guide for fixing the next screws:
Fix 2 x AP screws and 2 x BP screws through the relevant locating holes in the centre area of the chassis.
Fix 4 x CM screws through the chassis on either side of the wheel arches, and a further 2 x BP screws near the front end of the wheel arches.

STAGE 43A:
These parts are for assembling the exhaust system.
Locate the two tailpipe parts, 43A and 43D. Fit the parts together and fix using 1 x AP screw.
Locate the two exhaust pipe parts 43C and 43N. Fit the two parts together and fix using 2 x AP screws.
Retrieve the previous tailpipe assembly and fit the exhaust pipe in place. It will only fit one way.
Locate the other tailpipe part 43B and fit it in place trapping the exhaust. Fix the parts together using 2 x AP screws.
Locate the intermediate muffler part 43E and fit this in place on the other end of the exhaust pipe. Secure it using 1 x BP screw.
Locate the other two exhaust pipe parts 43G and 43H. Fit the parts together and fix using 2 x AP screws.

STAGE 43B:
Fit the parts just assembled in place on the intermediate muffler, part 43E and secure using 1 x BP screw.
Locate the other part of the muffler, part 43F and fix this to the assembly using 2 x AP screws.
Locate the catalytic converter part 43I and fit this to the end of the exhaust assembly. It will only fit one way. Secure using 1 x AP screw.
Locate the two initial exhaust sections, parts 43L and 43M. Fit the parts together and fix using 1 x AP screw.

STAGE 43C:
Fit the initial exhaust assembly in place on the open end of the front exhaust part 43J.
Fit the other part of the front exhaust, 43K in place, trapping the initial exhaust assembly. Fix the parts together using 2 x AP screws.
Fit this assembly in place on the open end of the catalytic converter, part 43I and secure using 1 x AP screw.
Retrieve the main model assembly and place it upside down.
Fit the front end of the exhaust assembly into the manifold on the side of the engine, and the rear of the exhaust in the location points at the back.
Use strips of masking tape at the rear to temporarily hold the exhaust in place.
Turn the model the right way up and fix the exhaust in place using 5 x AP screws through the floor of the car, running the length of the exhaust.
Remove the strips of masking tape.

STAGE 44:
These parts are for assembling the remote control unit.
Locate the remote control upper case and the rubber keypad, parts 44A and 44C. Fit the parts together making sure all the rubber buttons locate properly the openings.
Locate the printed circuit board, part 44E and fit this in the case. Make sure you fit it the correct way up with the actual circuitry facing outwards.
Fit the rear of the case, part 44B in place. It it a clip-fit and will only fit one way.
Locate the battery holder, part 44D. This fits into the remote control at the bottom and will only fit properly one way.
The printed instructions suggest you can fit a battery now but there is little point. At this time there is nothing to test.
