It just might! Natural market, iconic bike, and it’s about time to see something new. I’ve no idea of the release schedule. I’d love to, though! The move to FanHome is creating some holes in the offerings, so this one would be a good one to get offered.

Best,

Mark

Well, I forgot all about this one. It never came to the US. Three years and a bit later. Until the beginning of last week(8-3-24). I was scrolling through some utube video build channels and a gent in France had put one together. For grins I looked on ebay and low and behold there was a full kit recently posted for sale (from France). And it wasn't priced ridiculously, like a lot of these kits on ebay are. We came to an agreement on price and it is on it's way to me. I feel extremely lucky to have found a full kit.

From the build videos I've watched, it looks like a nice kit. We shall see. Stay tuned.

OK, Derek and fellow members, this post is going to be a test if I can get the photos to upload and how they look. If it works I will continue sharing my build of this great kit. So, here goes.

Well, it worked, at least for me. Some background on how I build these partworks kits. I dislike the kit fasteners (a lot) and always strive to replace all the visible ones with real bolts, socket head screws or more realistic fasteners. So, for the 1/4 motorcycle kits, it's better to use hex drive socket head and buttonhead screws and assorted bolts. This requires the use of taps for plastic and metal, which is very satisfying. The attached pic shows the fasteners I used for this kit. Sorry the photo captions are in French. I posted my build on a French forum - pictures there are not restricted in size.

I have also included my (late-sorry) Christmas card to you all. It is a look ahead as to how the build went.

If I seem late in replying it is because most of you are 6 hours ahead of me.

Thank you Mark. That is much appreciated.

Here are a few more pics. Some extra detailing on the front brakes using fittings from RBMOTION (he's closed now until April 10) and improving the look of the oil cooler lines.
