STAGE 1:
Locate the bonnet, part 1A, the catch surrounds, parts 4 x 1B and the ZM screws.
The screws are extremely small so take great care when fitting them. It is advisable to clean out the screw location holes in the bonnet from any paint or swarf using the tip of a sharp blade. Be very careful not to damage the paint on the bonnet. Hold one of the catch surrounds in place with a fingertip and fit the screws, 2 x ZM.
Do not fully tighten them until they are both fitted.
It cannot be emphasized enough, to take care here. A slip with the screwdriver could seriously damage the paintwork.
Fit the other three catch surrounds in the same way.
Store the assembly and unused parts safely for now.

STAGE 2:
In this stage you will assemble the front of the car body.
Locate the body panel and the upper grille, parts 2A and 2B.
Fit the grille in place and secure using 3 x YM screws. Take great care not to damage any surrounding paint work. Do not over tighten the screws as this will create a ‘dent’ in the thin metal.
Fit the lower vent mesh and frame, parts 2C and 2D in place over the large lower vent on the body panel. Secure the parts using 6 x YM screws. As before, do not over tighten the screws.
You will find it easier to fit the screws if you clear the mesh from the screw holes using a cocktail stick.
Retrieve the mesh and frames, parts 2 x 1C and 2 x 1D from the previous stage. Fit the mesh and then the frames over the vents on either side of the body panel and fix them using 4 x YM screws on each frame. As before, do not over tighten the screws.
Store the assembly safely for now.
