In 1987, Peugeot embarked on a new adventure and set itself the goal of winning one of the world's most testing motor competitions, the Paris-Dakar cross-country rally, across France, Algeria, Niger, Mali, Mauritania, and Senegal. To achieve this incredible ambition, the manufacturers developed a car that would prove unbeatable: the Peugeot 205 T16 Grand Raid.
With the 205 Turbo 16 Grand Raid and the support of the Peugeot team deployed in Africa, Ari Vatanen conclusively won the 1987 Paris-Dakar, ushering in a period of absolute domination by the brand in African cross-country races.
Now you can build your very own 1/8 scale model of the spectacular Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Grand Raid, winner of the 1987 Paris-Dakar Rally, driven by Ari Vatanen and Bernard Giroux. This never-before-released model is a prestigious addition to the world of model making. Have fun assembling it and displaying it in a prominent place in your home.
The official build will begin shortly so WATCH THIS SPACE... roymattblack attached the following image(s):

STAGE 1:
Bonnet and headlamp assemblies.
Locate the bonnet and badge, parts 1A and 1B. Press the badge into place on the front centre of the bonnet. The badge will only fit one way so it is not possible to accidentally fit it upside down.
Locate the headlamp housings and clear covers, parts 1C, 1D, 1E and 1F. These parts are all handed and are marked ‘L’ and ‘R’ for left and right.
Press the clear covers into place on their matching lamp housings. It is not possible to fit them incorrectly due to their individual shapes.
Store the bonnet and lamp assemblies safely until later.

STAGE 2:
Front wheel, brake disc and steering wheel.
Locate the wheel and tyre, parts 2A and 2B. Soak the tyre in hot (not boiling) water for approx. 30 seconds. Dry the tyre inside and out and sit it over the wheel on a firm surface. Press down on the tyre to fit it to the wheel. The tyre will fit quite easily.
Locate the brake disc parts 2C, 2D and 2E. Fit the disc hub, part 2C into the first disc part 2D making sure the grooved edge on the disc is facing upwards. Press-fit the outer disc part 2E onto the assembly. It will only fit one way.
Locate the steering wheel and column, parts 2F and 2G. Fit the wheel to the end of the column, noting that the parts have a ‘D’ shaped locating point on each so they will only fit together one way. Secure the parts using 1 x BM screw through the centre of the steering wheel.
Store all these parts safely for now.
